As a resident of SW FL I go to the beaches quite often. I love to walk in the sand, search for shells and get in the ocean. I purchased these shoes several months ago, and wanted to truly try them out with my routine before giving a review. Well, these shoes did not disappoint. I put them on before leaving for the beach and do not take them off until I return home. There are even stops in between where I have stopped at a grocery store or convenient store to pick up items that I have worn them in. I cannot believe how much sand actually gets into the shoes but you don't even feel it. I remove the little liners when I get home and use the hose to rinse everything off and let them air dry. Even if you can't rinse out all the sand, wait till they dry and see all the sand still within. Turn them upside down, shake them and see it. Just amazing that I couldn't feel all that sand when I had them on. The outer shoe is in perfect condition, the liner that I remove and replace each time I wear them is getting a bit wore. The fabric is peeling back from the liner itself. To me, that is not a big deal. The shoe does exactly what I wanted and to me that is worth the rating I gave. In fact, I have purchased three more pairs to have incase these are retired. Please consider this item if searching for an economical beach shoe.

I use these for aqua classes at my gym! They work really well to protect my feet in the water as I’m thrashing about, and keep the bottoms of my feet from being roughed up. They run a tiny bit large on me, but I’m not sure I’d want them to be any smaller. I think a little wiggle room is good. They have enough traction on land that I feel secure walking around the pool. They don’t have a hard bottom - they are flexible. I have a couple pairs that are more like shoes and I thought I preferred that style, but I think this style is actually working out better! It’s fun that they have SO MANY colors and patterns to choose from! Seems good quality but I haven’t had them too long.

I purchased for vacation for Texas in July. The first day I wore the shoes comfortably all day at Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Gavelston. Wore shoes numerous times to the beach and ocean at Crystal Beach. I toss in the washing machine after each use as I do not wish to cross contaminate personal swimming pool. I wear the shoes often around home pool to avoid the scorching concrete heat in south central Oklahoma. 5 stars for comfort, fit, durability and STYLISH! I always receive compliments from all ages of women and inquiries as to where I purchased.

Love these shoes, and a great price too! At first, I thought they would be too big and would fall off in the pool. Gave them a try -- and am very happy. The water almost creates a suction, so that they stay on and fit perfectly. The rubber soles work well on the wet floor of the locker room -- no slipping. Also, there is plenty of room in the toe area. Liked them so much, I ordered a second pair!

Easy to wash, I personally have tossed them through thr run cycle and dried them. They also do well with an air dry, but I recommend a soap wash for smell (as they are water shoes-) Color : I got the black and white leaf pattern, but the white doesn't seem to stain and the black color doesn't leak into the white. If it does stain, washer safe in my experience Issue : The only problem I can see is that dirt / sand gets in easy at the beach, but you don't notice it til you're starting to dry, so it doesn't matter much. Quality(*) : The shoe is very flexible and bendy, so if you're looking for a stiff / solid soled water shoe, don't get these. (*They worked perfect for my needs, because I had wanted a flexible sole.)

I love being at the beach and being in the water. I do not like stepping on all the rocks and seaweed etc. that are in the water. So I began a search on water shoes that would be protective and yet not make my feet feel hot or overly constrained. PROS I have wide feet and these still allow for great wiggle room. I usually wear a size 6 shoe. This size was slightly large, but I think that the smaller size would've been too snug. The solid bottom is very protective (saved me from getting a push pin in my foot just the other day) while also being flexible. The sole is more like a ballet flat. The opening is perfectly snug to keep out the sand while swimming but not so snug that it leaves a mark. The material is lightweight so my feet stay cool even on hot days. The removable insert is held firmly in place by little nubs located on the sole of the shoe. CONS The lining on the insert is already peeling off after only 6 uses. Must remove lining in order for the shoes to dry between uses. These water shoes definitely fit the bill. They are so comfortable without being overly fitted. The insert has a nice bit of cushioning without being chunky. I haven't had any sand get into the shoes at all. Next best thing to being barefoot. These would definitely have a 5 star review if the lining of the insert was holding up better.

There's an array of colors/patterns to chose from. I purchased the leopard print and yellow. I wanted them for a cruise, where I know I could be in the beach or in the pool and then walk directly into a restaurant. They definitely did the job. It didn't feel "watery" as I walked around. They dried very quickly. The only thing is, as stated, they are light weight. So the sole is very thin, and fabric isn't insulated. With that being said, I wouldn't walk for miles in them, especially if you need any kind of arch support.

The shoes seemed to fit true to size when I tried them on, but once I went in the water I noticed they were a half size too big. I recommend sizing down. The shoes are decent, especially for the price. They are slim and sleek. However if you're planning to use them for anything other than swimming I don't recommend. I went snorkeling and they were great in the ocean when I swam and walked on sand. But when I walked on rocks the shoes got tore up and we're not thick enough to protect my feet from the rocks without being uncomfortable. I recommend these shoes only for swimming.
