This was deoiveewd yesterday and I put it together and put it to use as soon as it arrived. It has adjustable heights but I would not recommend it be used my small children as the points on the end could be dangerou although it is great for dirt penetration. I used it in an existing garden and it does an excellent job of removing weeds and other debris under the surface. I encountered some roots and it was effective in breaking then but I had to turn it the other way as the roots are to large to break. This is a wonderful tool for residential gardening and makes quick work of tilling and wed removal. I would recommend it to anyone for use in a garden area of any type.

I am really impressed with this hand tiller. The tiller head digs in with ease. The handle is comfortable. For the price, I think it is a great deal. Aside from turning over soil, I actually used it to dig deep enough and cleanly enough for a post hole. Construction is strong, I think it will last for a couple years.

How have i gone this long without this?!?!?! Makes planting SO EASY! I 100% recommend. My yard can be very hard, this cuts it like butter. Very sturdy.

This hand tiller surprised me in a good way. Itās easy to handle and does a solid job loosening up previously worked soil. The helical tines bite into the ground well and make quick work of prepping garden beds. š”š± That said, the shaft could use a bit more heft. It feels a little thin compared to the sturdier lower section, and since you squeeze it together during assembly, I worry about long-term durability for more rugged use. Not a dealbreaker for a casual home gardener like me, but something to note for heavier-duty folks. šŖ The rubber grip on the T-bar isnāt as snug as Iād likeāit rotates a bit, so Iāll likely reinforce it with some adhesive down the line. š§¤ I do appreciate that it came with assembly tools included, and once it's together, it handles light- to moderate-duty work very well. For the price, it's a great value and worth having in your shed if you're not digging into untouched clay. Solid 4 stars! āāāā

This is more accurately a hole digger. Not quite post hole but unless your garden bed/soil is already loose and weed free - all youāll do is dig a perfectly circular hole the width and depth of the claw. I tested it in an area beneath one of my cattle panel arches that needs weeding/tilling and successfully dug pot holes that perfectly eat your foot and twist your ankles. Though it was easy to put together and use and the metal seems good quality - the weeding/tilling process will on,y work in an already weed free, loose soil garden space.

So, I was initially disappointed with this item, but quickly changed my opinion. When putting this together the screws wouldnāt tighten. I saw it came with an Allen key and a small wrench in the package with the nuts and screws, but the minimal instructions didnāt say how to use them. Also, there was one hole that was not completely drilled out. My husband came home from work to the rescue! Apparently these special nuts are called āelastic nutsā and you need to hold the nut with the little wrench while screwing the screw in with the Allen key. Iād never seen this type of nut/screw thing before, so it wouldāve been nice had they included that in the instructions. My husband was also able to punch the undrilled hole in with a screwdriver. Now weāre in business! Once the tiller was all put together it was super solid. The auger part is LARGE and well made. It takes minimal effort to rip up large weeds and patches of dead grass. It aerates the soil beautifully. My husband is looking forward to using it to till his vegetable garden next season. Aside from the small issues with the setup, this is a quality tool that Iām happy to own.

The media could not be loaded. Update: November 2025 I have had this tool for months now. Hands down, this is one of the best tools. I purchased another one, just so I have one for the front yard and another for the back yard (I hate carrying my tools back and forth). I didn't realize how compact my yard is. But this tool is fantastic. Highly-highly recommend! Original Review: June 28, 2025 I plan to use this for our raised bed, and so far, I am impressed. This hand tiller feels heavy-duty and easy to work with. I recorded a video for this review with one hand, while using the tiller with the other hand. The assembly took me about 3 minutes, but it is simple. The pieces slide together and screw in tight. The tiller has two joints you can add or remove depending on how tall you want it. When fully assembled, it is about 45 inches tall. If you take one joint out, it shortens to about 29 inches. My husband prefers the taller height. I actually liked it better at 29 inches. That option to adjust height made this more useful for both of us. The handle grip feels solid in hand. There is no slipping or strain when using it. The claw end is thick, sharp, and strong. It tilled straight through our raised bed with no issues. The soil broke up easily and the claw design really does help aerate and loosen it. I can see this working well in garden boxes or smaller plots too. I gave it 5 stars because this is a well-built manual tool. Nothing wobbly or flimsy.
