Edit: everything I said below stands, except, get two sizes larger. I wear 10.5, ordered 11’s. My foot tends to slide forward in the shoe such that my toes are pushing against the front. It’s okay but not ideal. And you’ll read how many people pushed through the toe area. Well, okay, try keeping your nails groomed and women, long toe nails are gross anyway so stop. I’m not concerned about poking through as much as comfort. I ordered 12’s, received them today just before a beach walk. Perfect! If you wear a men’s 10.5, get the 11’s. ‘nuff said about that. These water/beach shoes are very comfortable. Excellent protection against the seashells at the beach. They make walking in sand much easier. I’m sure they will do fine if the sand is hot. A couple of comments regarding the complaints of no support and the insole coming out. These are water shoes, made for being on the beach and wearing them in the water. They’re not boat shoes, walking shoes, sandals, or even flip flops. I imagine people complaining about support didn’t know what they were buying. And, regarding the removable insole, yes, it’s supposed to come out. Why? So you can clean the sand from under it inside the shoe, and let the shoe and the insole dry out more thoroughly. You DO NOT want to glue them in as some have tried, or do anything to permanently to fix them in place. Again, those complaints are likely from people who have never worn this type of shoe before. Bottom line, while I cannot speak about durability yet, I can say they are comfortable, the colors are great, and the functionality is exactly what is expected from this type of shoe.

I love being at the beach and being in the water. I do not like stepping on all the rocks and seaweed etc. that are in the water. So I began a search on water shoes that would be protective and yet not make my feet feel hot or overly constrained. PROS I have wide feet and these still allow for great wiggle room. I usually wear a size 6 shoe. This size was slightly large, but I think that the smaller size would've been too snug. The solid bottom is very protective (saved me from getting a push pin in my foot just the other day) while also being flexible. The sole is more like a ballet flat. The opening is perfectly snug to keep out the sand while swimming but not so snug that it leaves a mark. The material is lightweight so my feet stay cool even on hot days. The removable insert is held firmly in place by little nubs located on the sole of the shoe. CONS The lining on the insert is already peeling off after only 6 uses. Must remove lining in order for the shoes to dry between uses. These water shoes definitely fit the bill. They are so comfortable without being overly fitted. The insert has a nice bit of cushioning without being chunky. I haven't had any sand get into the shoes at all. Next best thing to being barefoot. These would definitely have a 5 star review if the lining of the insert was holding up better.

I bought this to use for water aerobics because the wet pool deck seemed very dangerous to me. The shoes made me feel safer and help with movement in the pool. Bright fun colors that have not faded. Would buy again. They seem to run a little small so I wear size 10 shoes and bought the size 11-12.

I have wide feet and oddly enough some water shoes do not really work for me. These however were perfect they did not suffocate my foot and they fit just fine ! I am very impressed and for the price I will definitely order again.

I've bought these twice because they are shoes that cost less than $8, and because they are certainly not built to last. I wore my last pair (shown) very infrequently because I was embarrassed by the hole in the toe that showed up very near my first purchase, and because the adhesive attaching the thin fabric to the liners wore away the moment they got wet which made it impossible to slip them on quickly. But I use them to take out the trash, and I sort of like that at $8 they are almost disposable. So I bought them again because I knew what I was in for, and now you do, too. Next time I hope I remember to order a size up.

I bought these for Water Zumba/Aerobics. I was concerned at how thin they are but they have held up like a champ. No fading. I normally wear a size 7 in shoes but measure as a 6/6.5 so I ordered the small and they fit perfectly. I hang up to dry after each time in the pool.
