  • 27" to replace a 24" -- just buy two
Style: 27-Inch 165hz G-SYNC
I have a double 24" LED monitor display for my home office. Both Samsung monitors that I've been very happy with. When our 3rd monitor died, I volunteer'd one of my 24", so I could upgrade to more realestate on a 27". Searched aroaund, and focused on ViewSonic. I was happy with them in past as well. Really the picture quality is above all my expectations. I have not gamed with the monitor, so cannot speak to that. The only negative I have, is that the buttons on the side to operate monitor settings is not as user friendly as it could be. I switch monitor inputs very frequently, its a 3/4 button press exchange each time. I wish the buttons were programmable, so that I could have a button simply toggle the video input source. Install and setup was a breeze. I would certainly buy it again, and would recommend to anyone. Perfect home/office monitor. Pros: - price - looks - build quality - picture quality - responsiveness Cons: - monitor control/menu navigation ... show more

  • Get it if you can. Really great.
Style: 27-Inch 165hz G-SYNC
Didn't get the Asus or Dell brands because of the pixel warranty from viewsonic and it's "more" simple styling (except the little rgb is awesome on this). Also opt for the additional insurance through Amazon if you can. Arrived with no defects, no flicker, no problems whatsoever. Drivers plug and play, but be sure to configure settings on the driver software to ensure you're running 144hz 1440p and GSync, then you're good to go to manage the setting's physical buttons, which are fairly frustrating to use being unlabeled and seemingly change around through each menu, but the display makes up for it and everything was manageable. The Rgb by the way is right in front of you in the middle of the stand, and it changes with whatever you have on the screen -- all the colors, not too fast, really well done. Only con I have is that I wish I had known about the separate power adapter it has, imagine a laptop charger brick. Not a deal breaker, but it was new info to me. ... show more

  • Panel Lottery
Style: 27-Inch 165hz G-SYNC
I'm really getting tired of this generation of panels.. I've bought 2 monitors so far... The "Asus PG278QR" and the "ViewSonic XG2760". Both panels can't display blacks correctly and I personally think they use the same panel for both since they both are a Taiwanese company. I do have to admit that the Asus had some less black uniformity issues but a dead pixel had developed with in one week of use.. now this XG2760 is even worse with the black uniformity..(colors are ok, on the Asus was better for sure, it's over saturated on the ViewSonic.) But for the premium price you pay, it not worth it. I only lasted an hour with in use and I decided enough was enough. I'm going with a IPS panel for 1440p, TN panels are apparently aweful at this resolution compaired to 1080 res. i'll take my chances with the IPS glow and the "slower" pixel response.. If I could give Amazon a rating, I would give them 5 stars! But at this point, I'll stop buying Monitors from them because all I do is return it.. ... show more

  • Great monitor 27" 2k 144hz model
Style: 27-Inch 165hz G-SYNC
Great monitor, the picture and overall quality are what you'd expect for a quality display maker like ViewSonic. One thing that is kind of bugging me and may not be an issue for all people is the placement of the headphone jack. This monitor gets audio in through the display port interface which is fine but I use headphones about 80% of the time and the only way to switch between the internal speaker and headphone jack is to physically unplug the headphones... which wouldn't be a big deal except the jack is on the back of the display where I have to reach around under it and fumble around blind to unplug/replug. I really wish it was located on the front or side or bottom or something, it would be a lot more convenient that way. Still it's a great monitor. ... show more

  • Great monitor! Better QC than ASUS PG278QR!
Style: 27-Inch 165hz G-SYNC
Took a chance and bought this new model (XG2760) with no reviews that I could find. I had previously bought the ASUS PG278QR but it had backlight bleed along the bottom and the panel was brighter on the left and top. This Viewsonic in comparison is beautiful! No backlight bleed and the panel is very uniform. I also have a 32" BENQ VA and this new XG2760 looks VERY close in image quality (Despite being a TN panel). I think this might be the same panel as the ASUS or maybe a newer version as they both had good colors but this has no defects! G-Sync works great in the few games I've tested it on (Overwatch, Wreckfest, Fortnite). Build quality is close if not as good as the ASUS. I prefer the design of the Viewsonic but I liked the OSD controls on the ASUS more. ... show more

  • Looks great in game, some flickering issues
Style: 27-Inch 165hz G-SYNC
For some reason I am getting some back light flickering when I have games open in certain menus. For example, when I am on the League of Legends Champ loading screen and on the Apex Menu, the screen flickers. It could be something I have to change but i'm not sure. I don't notice any flickering when I am in a game though. My specific model came with one missing pixel (not really noticeable). Everything else is great. ... show more

  • Works Well
Style: 27-Inch 165hz G-SYNC
Had problems when I first turned it on. No display. Couldn't figure it out at first. The last monitor I bought from ViewSonic when you plugged in the monitor cable it new what type of cable you were using. I had to use the HDMI cable at first because I didn't have a display port on my computer. That is factory default when you get it. The colors are great especially when playing video's. ... show more

  • Not impressed
Style: 27-Inch 165hz G-SYNC
Color shades were off. A solid blue came out with shades. Similar results with green. I felt a lot of eye strain on these with lowest brightness as well. The unit I got didn't have display port cable. We had to buy a 1.4 display port cable to check this monitor. All in all, you can have fun gaming but this isn't the premium monitor that one would pay the big bucks for. ... show more
