The monitor you get will have Viewsonic branding on it, not OMNI as shown in the picture. Additionally it is not capable (to my knowledge) of running at 180hz, and caps at 165hz. Reviewed X2728J-2K 27 Inch Gaming Monitor 1440p. Purchased 2 units. Liked: (1) Full ergonomics - tilt, pivot and height adjust. (2) Good price point. (3) Input ports include both HDMI and DisplayPort. Disliked: --- Units use a power brick, which adds more clutter to my desk. ---One monitor had 9 pixels in a single area that were "partially on" -- not dead, but there is a small grayish dot in the screen corner. The other monitor has variable brightness all across the screen. (No dead pixels, but it looks like I'm using wall paper of the inside of a cloud.) For gaming and casual use these issues are not critical, but for a graphics designer they could be a problem. Huge dislike: --- I checked the Viewsonic web site, and the 9-pixel area makes the monitor eligible for a replacement, but Viewsonic tech support has not responded to my trouble ticket. I'm still trying to decide whether to force the replacement or not. BOTTOM LINE --- If you don't need perfect image fidelity, this is a very good monitor for the price. ... show more

5 stars for me. 27in 1440p is the sweet spot for mid-high end rigs. I adjust colors with nvidia, so I’m not sure how the stock colors are. Monitor came in perfect condition with 0 flaws. Best price I’ve seen for the quality.

Had to replace my ASUS 27” monitor. This Viewsonic Omni VX2728J had better specs and cost less. So far I do like it. I bumped up the refresh rate. I also took off power saving and went through each screen option on monitor till I had the best screen. I have two monitors and the other one is an ASSUS and the Viewsonic looks better and is my main monitor. ... show more

La pantalla es grande, vino muy bien empacada, pero no es gran cosa. Primero los colores no son la gran cosa, a parte si se le activa el HDR pierde color. Segundo al restaurarla de fabrica, quedan todos los colores palidos y toca ir por alla a una opción que toca encenderla para que los colores cobren vida y solo se puede aplicar al puerto DisplayPort, no a los HDMI, es decir al restaurar a fabrica si conecto el portatil al HDMI y le activo el HDR la imagen queda como si la hubieran lavado, palida palida. Tercero y ultimo, el otro día jugando, mientras el juego cargaba, la pantalla estaba negra y con la luz de la habitación apagada observé que tiene fugas de luz en ambos costados de cada esquina. La verdad la compré porque se supone que la marca es buena y desistí de pantallas LG y ASUS por el mismo problema del punto 3 y al ver que nadie decia que esta pantalla tenía ese problema decidí comprarla y me salio con el mismo problema. ... show more

This Monitor hurts my eyes. Too Bright. Tried adjusting Monitor and GPU. Look on line and found an adjustment video and tried that. Did not help. Just made video and text blurry. Returned and bought and LG.
