I use this camera as a second angle for podcast interviews. It has more clarity than the Canon Vixia R800 I use for the other angle. It does record in 4GB segments you'll have to merge together in post. The video at the merge points is seamless, but there is a VERY slight audio drop. I use external audio for my videos so it doesn't bother me at all, and even if I were using the internal mic on the camera it probably wouldn't. Having two batteries is nice, but I power it with USB-C anyway. The battery and SD card door is on the bottom of the camera, so if you're on a tripod, you'll have to dismount the camera to swap cards or battery. For the price point, I can't be upset with it. My factory settings weren't set to the optimal frame rate and resolution, but it's easy enough to bump everything up through the menus. I don't have much input about the internal mic quality as I use external audio. Also not much on the zoom because I don't use that either. Everything I do is stationary. ... show more

Great product. Easy to understand menue. Nice and compact. A good clear picture. However, I do have one gripe. The camera's zoom is both short and not as smooth as it should be. Bought this for my 6yr old who's obsessed with vlogging. It's perfect! Rugged, easy to use. Good video quality and LOVE the IR option (once we figured out how to turn it on! ) Only recommendation is to get an external mic for better sound quality if needed.
