I recently got this to start filming, I was pleased by the compact design and sleek features. I love the handle and microphone ease of use. This was so easy to open and set up anyone could do it! The video quality is very nice, clear. Recording and voice is very clear too, doesn’t sound faded over masked by background noise. This camera is very easy to use, you almost don’t need the manual it’s that simple! Great value for everything you get!!! Highly recommend!!!

Great camera pack for a novice but please read review! This was not my first camcorder, so I had an idea what I was looking for and what comes in kits. Does not come with SIM card or battery charger so make sure to order those so you are not stuck w/out it before an event. For price, I was a bit surprised it didn’t include a battery charger or small SIM card for quick purchase-pickup-shoot. Overall, package and items are in great condition and will have good memories made with it. Seller put a lot of thought into curating the items as these items sold separately can become pricey. It’s been a couple years since I bought a camcorder so many kits do not have the additional lense or mic at a reasonable cost anymore so it’s fair for the price. I recommend ordering at least a week before an event to ensure you know how to use and you have everything you need as well. I would also recommend a memory card converter so once the movies are shot, you can upload to your phone or laptop to start editing. Happy shooting!!

It’s smaller and lighter than I expected. All of the extras were very nice (2 batteries, external microphone, handle, hood, remote with an extra battery for the remote). Has multiple video modes including motion detection. The LCD screen is touch screen. Has a night mode with infrared sensor. Even with the lens hood, microphone, and handle, it’s still very light. The remote works very well. I prefer using it over the touch screen to navigate the menus. You can only use the remote once you manually turn on the camera. I really like how it came with an HDMI to mini HDMI cable (most camera makers don't do that). This camera doesn’t come with an SD card, so make sure you have one already (otherwise you can only use it as a webcam, which isn’t a bad thing) I wish it could record higher a higher resolution than 1080p (but you can record longer videos, since 4K takes up so much more memory). Sometimes the menus have a slight delay. Zoom, is steps, not analog. When flipping the screen, the video on the LCD screen only flips when clicked all the way. Otherwise it will be in the original orientation. Sometimes you have to push a little hard on the LCD screen. If the microphone is plugged in, you can’t close the LCD screen all the way. The carrying case is very nice, but it only holds the camera. I wish it had a bigger case that could hold all of the accessories. In low light situations, the video is a little grainy. The external handle has a slot to slide the camera forward and back. However, even though the slot is long, you can only slide it a little bit because the angled part of the handle hits the back of the camera where the battery is located. Overall, it’s a great camera for young people getting into recording, or as a webcam in well lit areas. All of the accessories, make the purchase seem more worth it.

Instructions could be better, but it's fairly easy to figure it out.

This camera is easy to put together. It comes with instructions, so that is always helpful. Memory card is not included, so be mindful of that. It is prefect for begginers. It is lightwear, and compact size, so easy to carry it out. It comes with 2 techargable batteries so you ensure that you wont run out of battery. I like the performance of this camera. The night vision is a great feature, I was surprised. Great value for your money. It can be an excelent gift.

I really wanted this camera to work, and for the first week it seemed fine. Then the picture developed a strong purple color cast that I could not correct, even after resetting the white balance and trying the available settings. The camera also feels very cheaply made, with a lot of lightweight plastic. Another frustration was the memory card information. I bought an adapter expecting to use a microSD card, only to discover that the camera is designed for a standard-size SD card. I also had to run the video files through HandBrake before I could reliably use them in my normal editing workflow, which added another unnecessary step. For casual use it may be adequate, but based on my experience I would pass on this one and spend a little more for a better-quality camera.
