We own a sign shop, so when I saw these on Amazon, I knew the material they are made from, corrugated plastic, would last outdoors. I like decorations that can last for years and this material should do that. There are 3 sizes of bats, 4 of each size. I plan to run fishing line through the holes in the wings and hang them from our trees out front. Some of the tips of the wings were a bit bent when they arrived, but a little adjusting and they were fine. They include sticker eyeballs for both sides of the bats. Probably can't see that at night, but that doesn't bother me. Shipping was quick. I can't wait to hang them up.

These are very sturdy and you are able to use them from year to year. Great value for the price. I liked the different sizes it came with. My only complaint is they are a little difficult to hang but we got it figured out with some fishing line.

These were the easiest Halloween decor I put up this year. The wings come with holes, so I just strung fishing line through one hole and push pinned them up on my porch. Not sure how they'd do in the climate though. I would think a ton of rain would ruin them. 🤷 I love them!

I recently ordered these bats and they are pretty much just light weight cardboard cutouts. You receive about twelve of them ranging in size from small,to medium,to large. You will also need to provide your own hanging material just like the other reviewers state. I used fishing line as suggested which seems to do the trick. When I first opened the package I was slightly under whelmed, but once I hung a few in my tree and a few on my porch, I thought they actually looked pretty good.Then when the wind began to blow it seemed to give them almost life like movement. It really appeared as if it were a swarm of bats fluttering around. For a moment, I was quite pleased with the outcome. Until a little while later, as I happened to look out the window and noticed that with a moderate breeze, these things were flipping around like crazy and turning cartwheels and everything. Two minutes later they were all tangled around the tree branches and each other. In a snap my masterpiece was ruined. I didn't even get the chance to sit back and admire my work (which everyone knows is the only reason I was looking out the window to begin with). I find myself out there every other day untangling bats. No matter how long or short l trim the fishing line,or how far apart I space them, they still end up tangled in the tree. I fear the neighbors will think I'm obsessive. Every time they see me, I'm fiddling with those bats. So I have come up with an idea. The bats have a hole on each wing to put fishing wire through, so I'm going to place a small nut from Home Depot through each end of the fishing wire on both wings of every bat to sort of add a little bit of weight without being too visible. I hope this will solve the problem because these things are driving me BATS!!

Don’t waste your money on these. Very cheap and small. No strings included for hanging. Really disappointing for the price.

Although it is cute under the tree...the set up was very difficult. It did not come pre-strung and there were no instructions. I was guessing the ends of the string that come with a metal piece somehow thread through a punched hole through the bats and then the metal piece would keep it from coming back through the hole.. but that's not the case. I ended up having to tie them in knots individually...then the white plastic 'things' that the string is wound to was another thing to tackle...I had no clue how to affix them to the tree limbs...it's got a shallow hook that you couldn't use to hook onto a limb...and several other features to it that I had no clue what to do with. And I'm an engineer. I had to jerry rig the plastic things in the tree. So finally, after way too long, I finished and they looked good. But everyday, when the wind blew, my bats would be stuck in the tree or tangled up together and I had to untangle them...everyday. I recommend the manufacturer to find some other way of hanging these things because they are cute (and add instructions to the package) and make sure they are hung far apart so they don't tangle in each other.

very cute and great hanging Halloween decor to have to use during this time of year. I was very happy with the purchase on how the bats looked and being in different sizes were great. The only thing i didn't care for was the different colors eyes it came with to put on. I would just have been happy with one color as shown in the picture, the red eyes.
