  • Carry-on superstar
Size: Carry-On, Frequent Flyer (22") Color: Black
Very nicely designed, love the surface it has been very resistant so far, perfect size even when not extended. Very lightweight, best moving wheels out of all luggage I had so far. Worth every cent.

  • Incredibly well designed, fantastic value
This is the most thoughtfully designed luggage I have owned. The pockets and zipper placements were all designed with a traveler in mind. I am always amazed by how much I can fit into this carry-on and how well organized everything is. The bag also looks great.

I didn’t use the luggage yet. I cannot say about the durability.

  • Quality Luggage
Size: Carry-On-Global (22") Color: Black
I replaced my old soft-sided luggage with Frequent Flyer and the Checked-Medium luggage. The deciding factor to get this make/model was one of the pieces going on sale. Otherwise, I was leaning toward a lesser Samsonite option. I was extremely surprised by the quality of these pieces. The shell is polycarbonate, which is typically the best of the plastic options you find available for luggage. Polycarbonate is used in bullet resistant glass and for other extreme impact applications. The idea is that it will not crack easily. The case is a weave of this material, which is flexible, and extremely lightweight. The weave also gives it an interesting appearance when the light hits it, almost like a carbon fiber weave. Don't fall in love with the appearance, as it will get scuffs the first time you check the bag. Not a complaint, just the way it is. If you're looking for a general 2 piece luggage set, I do recommend the sizes that I got. For an average size male, you can get 3 to 4 outfits in the carry-on, without expanding it. Less if you're packing dress clothes. You may have to get creative, and you'll need to iron, but it'll fit. For longer stays, the medium size will easily sustain a weeks worth of outfits, and still have room to bring back any small treasures you purchase during your travels. Plus, you have the option to use the expansion zipper if you need even more room. The large and extra-large sizes are pushing the limit and you may have to pay extra to check those bags with some airlines. The power bank plug-in is a cool feature to have at the gate if the designated charge areas are crowded with people. I don't plan to use the little pocket knife pouch, as it's probably not worth having the "conversation" with TSA. There is a little sim card tool and a tiny pen that snap in to the luggage tag. These items seem more like a silly tribute to the Victorinox heritage than something you'd actually use. The lock is pretty good. On my older set I always used a tiny lock through the holes in the zipper pulls. I had to keep the tiny stamped steel key on my keyring. If you're using your own lock, just know that one way or another, TSA will get in your bag if they decide they need to. The beauty of the TSA lock is that they can do it without destroying your expensive luggage. This combo lock works great, and I don't have to mess around with a tiny key. If you create a login on the Victorinox website, you can store your lock combination under your profile in the event that you ever forget it. All-in-all, this is a quality set that I anticipate keeping for quite a while. Victorinox covers this set with their 1+10 year warranty. In general, for the first year they'll cover defects, normal wear, and airline handling damage. From year 2 - 11 they'll cover defects, normal wear (less seams, stitching, fabric, and zipper tape). I'd be interested to know if they consider broken wheels under "normal wear" as that seems to be a common failure for luggage. Also note, you will need proof of purchase to use the warranty...so keep your receipt for 11 years. ;) ... show more

  • The suitcase is unusable
Size: Carry-On, Frequent Flyer (22") Color: Black
Ok. So this was an open box. The suitcase is locked and I can't open it. So the suitcase is unusable.

  • Disappointing quality
Definitely not worth the price. The wheels frequently stick, the suitcase itself is prone to tipping over, and the zipper is already breaking. Good looking design, but terrible quality overall. Unfortunately I realized this on an international trip, and by the time I returned, I was outside of the return period. ... show more
