I recently made the switch from Blue Buffalo to Victor Hi Pro Plus for my two older Schnoodles (ages 11 and 13), and the difference has been nothing short of remarkable. From the very first meal, both dogs practically dance with excitement at feeding time – they can’t wait to dive in and devour every kibble. It’s the first time in years I’ve seen this level of genuine enthusiasm for their food; they truly love the taste. Beyond the obvious enjoyment, the health benefits showed up quickly. Within a couple of weeks I noticed noticeably firmer, smaller stools (always a welcome sign of better digestion and nutrient absorption). Their energy levels have climbed; these “senior” pups are acting years younger with more spring in their step on walks and playtime. Their coats, which were already nice, have taken on an even softer, shinier quality that I can feel every time I pet them. Perhaps the cherry on top is the value. Victor Hi Pro Plus delivers everything I was getting from Blue Buffalo (and more) at a significantly better price point. It’s genuinely refreshing to find a high-protein, premium-quality food that doesn’t come with the premium price tag. Had to find a food that both the 3 year old Dobbie and puppy could it. Both are doing amazing on it. The puppy is 4 months old and 38 pounds, all muscle. He eats this stuff like a pig :) Both have a shiny coat, healthy nails, and don't notice any digestive issues. Had been feeding the older dog Victor grain free for a year and she was doing well on that. This food i did notice her coat was more shiny and she put on just a little bit of weight, increased energy for playing with puppy. ... show more

I bought this dog food because I needed something high in protein for an active dog. I wanted a premium option with good ingredients that would support energy and overall health. First impression: the kibble looks good quality and smells normal (not overly strong). The ingredient list gave me confidence, especially with multiple protein sources. After switching to this food, I noticed my dog had more consistent energy and seemed very satisfied after meals. No hesitation at feeding time, which is always a good sign. What I like most is the high protein content. It feels like a great option for active dogs that need extra fuel without unnecessary fillers. The only downside is the price compared to basic dog food, but the quality makes it worth it. Overall, this is a solid premium dog food. I was excited to have my furbaby try this he’s a Kangal shepherd mixed with Belgian Malinois Shepherd, so he is very high energy! And also a very picky eater! I have to make his food but I like to add kibble to it it keep his stool thicker lol not runny like it is with just my homemade food. I googled best food for his 2 breeds and this was 2nd on the list , and one of the few I could buy in a small bag (in case he didn’t like it , which happens often! ) well when I opened the bag it has an awful smell I don’t know if it’s supposed to smell like this kinda stale or something but my floof snubbed his nose at me and the food ! I even tried putting bone broth on it but he can still smell it . So I’m stuck with another bag of dog food my baby will not eat. And I can’t blame him because even though the bag is rolled tightly shut with another uneaten bag I have them all in a plastic container with his Milk bones as well , everything in there smells like this dog food and when I open the container it stinks up my entire kitchen! Do better Victors ! Stanley isn’t just a dog to me he’s my son! ... show more

Our breeder recommended this food for our new puppy, even though it’s adult formula - she uses it for all her puppies. Since we have a second dog, it makes it easy for them to both eat the same food, and they love it. As far as I can tell, our dog and puppy think it tastes great!

    • Great product poor delivery

Had to go to post office to retrieve my package cause delivery person claimed they tried to leave it at my mailbox which would have never worked or 30 lbs bag of dog food plus was not in my delivery instructions. Dogs love it though.
