Wanted to love these because they are sooo pretty and the height and sole were surprisingly super comfortable to try on. The gold buckle is metal, and the wedge is crafted nicely as well. Traction was fine. Seems well-made and durable. The color was a little darker orangey tan than I expected but still beautiful. I’m a true 6.5 and the sole was the correct size. Why 4 stars? And why didn’t I keep them? The problem was the width of the straps all around. The front toe strap is super wide. My foot slipped too far forward so that my toes were over the front edge. You may be able to compensate for that part with a ball of the foot pad. The heel strap was also too big and tightening the ankle strap didn’t help that part. I feel like the rubbing would have caused blisters. So bummed! I purchased in a few different sizes to try for my teen daughter as well. She has extra wide feet and a high instep and the toe strap fit her a little better, but the heel height was too tall for her and she said she felt like Bambi trying to walk. The heel was still loose though. Overall the sole size is true to size, but the width everywhere was just way too big and may continue to stretch. These are a little more orange than the description says. I wear a size 4 and shoes can be hard to find in a pinch. These came fast and fit well enough. They were easy to walk in and were decently comfortable. I wore them for an entire day and my feet didn't hurt nor did I get blisters. They could work for a dress or jean shorts so they are pretty versatile. They are light weight but I'm not sure how durable they would be if wearing a lot. They do feel slightly cheap due to the lightness and strap material but they work when you need them to. ... show more

Ordered these wedge sandals last minute to take on vacation. Wore them for the first time on the cruise ship; no issues with rubbing or blistering. I ordered a size 8 which is my normal size. They fit well but are a tad bit wide. Still fit snugly so foot did not move around. Very comfortable!
