This replaces a much smaller desk and what a difference. It looks and feels great. Lots of room and very well made considering the low price. Assembly took 5 minutes. The wood top is already bolted to the aluminum outline frame so there is no alignment or stripping of the particle board to worry about. Just two hex bolts on each leg. The kit comes with an simple allen wrench but it goes much faster if you have power tools. The only surprise was the monitor mount. I already had a dual monitor stand I bought many years ago from Monoprice for my two dell 24" screens but quickly realize the two clamping bolts would not clear the metal outline frame. Thankfully, the height of the frame from the wood is exactly 1.5 inches which is the same as the nominal thickness of a 2x4 (remember 2x4's are 1.5 inch x 3.5 inch and not actually 2 inch x 4 inch :)). So I just sandwich in a scrap piece I had and done. See the attached picture. It does have some wobble to it because of the lack of cross support between the legs and table top. But having those would take away the leg room I suppose. Only really noticeable if you are doing something very aggressive on it. Normal typing and mouse moving are perfectly smooth. UPDATE: One thing I noticed was that the edges of the table top are very sharp. They tend to irritate your arms and wrists after a while of using it. Running your finger along an edge, you easily feel it. I ended up running a file along them to give a little bit of roundness. And I mean a TINY bit - it takes very little to take off the edge - like 2-3 passes depending on how aggressive the file is. Take off to much and you might start eating at the glue. If you dont have a metal file you can do it with a simple nail file, it will just take longer.

When I received the table, the packaging was in excellent condition. There were a few minor scuffs on it, but that's to be expected. The contents inside were flawless, and everything was securely held in place during transit. The table and components had no damages to them at all. The top was extremely clean, and all tools were included (even the Allen wrench). Setting it up was a walk in the park. It literally took less than 10 minutes, and instructions were not even needed. All that needs to be done is just screwing the legs onto the table top. The table top itself is quite heavy and sturdy. It does not feel cheap at all. The legs are metal, and have plastic grommets on the bottom. The table itself is very easy to clean, and does not scratch easily. I can see this lasting me a long time. The only reason why I gave this four stars, and not five, is because the legs are a little wobbly when attached. It's not due to the quality, just the engineering. The legs tighten at the corners near the top of the table. This causes the lower sections of the legs to be slightly unstable when bumped or moved. Again, this is definitely not a deal breaker for me, just something to consider. There is plenty of space on the table. I have a 27" monitor, laptop, speakers, and lamp sitting on top of it with room to spare for a textbook and additional papers. I will say one more thing to those who are looking for a desk to write on. Since the top is laminated, it does have a gritty texture to it. When writing on paper that is laying directly on this table, the grittiness tends to "bleed" through a little bit. This cause your writing to show little bumps. Since I write in textbooks and use my computer most of the time, this does not affect me. However, I wanted to make it clear to those who it might.

I bought this to replace a $50 Ikea desk that was bending in the center. I have a fairly heavy desktop computer on my desk with 3 or 4 monitors depending on how I have it set up. The Ikea desk appeared to have a wooden top, but it was actually hollow and filled with particle board. This desk is over double the price, but you easily get your money's worth from it. The top is an actual slab of wood, and is reinforced with a metal frame around the outer edge. It is much much heavier than my old desk (and for good reason), but I still found it fairly easy to assemble. The frame is fairly thick, and there's not much of a lip where the wooden top extends past it. My Vivo monitor stands were able to clamp around the metal frame without any trouble. However, the clamps for both my mic stand and racing wheel could not open far enough to get around the metal frame, and the lip of the wooden top does top extend far enough to hold them. This wasn't a huge issue for me as my mic does not need that stand and the separate stand I had to buy for the racing wheel made it better to use anyway, but it's definitely worth considering if you need anything clamped around the desk. I had a very hard time finding a simple, sturdy desk like this that can hold a lot of weight, and I was very happy with this one

First if all when you receive it, it may looked damaged from shipping but those are scrap pieces of wood used to protect the sides so open it up and inspect it. Looked damaged when it arrived but when i opened it up, it was just fine. I bought it in a lighting sale so for 115 bucks I give it 5 stars. At it's normal price of around 160$ I would give it 4 stars Pros Sturdy, not good enough for a workbench but perfect for a regular desk. And I have a heavy huge monitor and computer. Just wouldn't use it as a workbench. Easy to put together. Metal legs and large enough bolts Looks nice when done Cons packaging could be better but mine was not damaged even though it looked like it from the outside. Some fiberglass left on the table top in packaging. Just wipe away with a towel. Black tabletop shows fingerprints and grease easily. Overall a great computer desk but mostly the size fit my room perfect and it was afordable and arrived in good shape. Would recommend just make sure you open it up and and if you see broken pieces on the side of the box, its just scrap wood for shipping.

Found a link to this desk online when searching for some recommendations, and it had multiple mentions and I can see why. The biggest draw for me was the price. Much lower than many other basic options on Amazon or places like IKEA. So, my expectations weren’t super high. However I have THOROUGHLY impressed with the quality of this desk. First, it is extremely easy to put together. You’re literally just bolting the legs to the metal frame that is already attached to the desk. There doesn’t seem to be any wobble, even after putting everything on the desk. Will have to see how long that lasts, but for now it doesn’t have any give. But it’s also very lightweight, so easy to move around. The desk has plenty of space for everything I need, two monitors and a laptop as a 3rd monitor, keyboard, mouse, router. Plus still room for a drink, some books, my iPad. This would be very comfortable for a variety of tasks. I use it for work, but it would also be a good option for studying, hobbies, etc. Absolutely would buy again.

I have now owned this desk for over a year so I can give a good opinion based on experience. Pros 1.) It is extremely easy to setup You are given an allen wrench with some matching hex keys and you simply just have to install the legs 2.) It is very sturdy The tabletop is made of wood and the support beams and legs are made of metal. I haven't felt a single wobble from the table 3.) It is less expensive than similar desks Cons 1.) Sharp edges I wish that the edges were smoother. I had to get a large mousepad because resting my forearms on the edges was very uncomfortable. 2.) Cannot mount any monitors or mic arms If you plan to use a C-clamp style mount on this desk, then this product is not for you. If this tabletop extended past the metal support beam a bit more, this would be a great desk but this is its worst flaw. I bought the following Microphone arm and it requires about 2" of a tabletop to clamp onto. This desk has less than inch of tabletop to work with, so even a very lightweight microphone arm is not capable being mounted on this desk. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076ZKGZ5X/ The same story goes for if you want to mount a monitor on this desk. A C-clamp will not work. You can either get a monitor mount that is free-standing or you must be willing to drill your own grommet holes into this. Verdict I would call this a table rather than a desk. If you want an in-expensive very bare-bones table that will last, then this is for you. If you are interested in mounting a Microphone arm or some Monitors onto this, then look elsewhere and spend a bit more on a real desk.
