Excellent delivery time; ordered on 25th delivered well before due on 29th. But the company cannot see inside box so cannot be held accountable for the lights on the tree being strung very poorly. One third near the top was bare of lights. There is no way to move the lights from the Chinese determined location because of all the twisting & wrapping of the individual lights. On more than 1 level of branches, the lights were wrapped around the where the branch end spreads into several ends so the tips could not be spread appropriately and the light string applied to inner branches kept the branches from fully opening. I ended up taking all the lights off & that was a 2 1/2 hour project because of the twisted way they were over-secured to the branches. It was easier to keep & remove lights 3 weeks before Christmas but never again will I get a tree with lights. The tree itself, is a great looking, very fully branched 5 1/2 slim tree that is perfect—-WITH MY LIGHTS. Vickerman should take the contract back from the Chinese company that did the lights. I’ve bought several lighted trees in the past—all taller 7 1/2 ft or more without the tree being hung up by the lights, no bare spots, & being able to move the lights to some degree—not this tree. As others have said, if you take the time to fluff the branches, it looks very nice and full. It is very easy to put together. Only issue is it needs a better base support. It’s not very stable.

I ordered this tree after Christmas and set it up quickly when it arrived just to see if I liked it. I was pleased that it was very easy to set up and looks pretty full once the branches are fluffed out. Disassembling it and returning it to the box was also easy, and I didn't have to completely "unfluf" it for it to fit nicely in the original package. I live in a condominium, so space for a Christmas tree is an issue . This particular pencil tree not only looks nice but will fit in a couple of different places in my living area, so it meets all of my purchase criteria. ... show more

Definitely a cheaply manufactured Chinese product, but higher quality than the crap you get at Walmart. The presentation on the website is confusing. I thought I was getting an led tree as most of the options are, but upon closer inspection, I see that this option was not.

Purchased this Vickerman Salem Pencil Pine Tree for my son as a gift. He has a small living room, so purchased the slim tree. It fit perfectly in his small space. He assembled the tree in a matter of less than 15 minutes and then took more time to adjust the branches. It just looks beautiful! After Christmas he can put the tree back in the original box and enjoy it for many years to come. Excellent value - and Vickerman artificial trees are very well constructed and last for several years. (I own 2 Vickerman trees, love them) ... show more

I just assembled my new tree! I love how skinny it is! It will be perfect for being the 4th tree in our already crowded home! So easy to find a spot for it! Also, I run a business where I make and sell handmade Christmas ornaments, so it will be a great way to display my ornaments while maximizing limited space at craft fairs! I love this tree! I needed to down size the tree years ago and was using the ones made for the front step. I wasn’t happy with that so looked for a tall skinny tree. This fit the bill perfectly. Am I doing something wrong? Every review I read and picture I saw showed a beautiful, full tree. Mine is an anorexic balding shrub! ALSO: THE TREE CAME WITH WARNINGS ATTACHED TO SEVERAL PARTS OF THE TREE THAT THE PRODUCT EXPOSES YOU TO CHEMICALS THAT ARE KNOWN TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO CAUSE REPRODUCTIVE ISSUES!
