  • Good satin finish
Color: Satin Black
Covers good. Spray pattern is good for tubing. Spray cans will make it easy to touch up.

  • Good stuff

  • Have been using this for years now
Color: Satin Black
I use this to touch up the frames on my SUV's. As we live in a road salt area every fall I touch up any rust spots with a wire brush and this stuff. It's very tough paint, after its been applied and the frame has been out n the weather, 6-12 months later the color blends in with every OEM black frame paint I've used it over. I havent had rust re-appear in any of the spots I've touched up with it and I've been using this for at least 8 years now. Having the primer built-in means less prep too. If its a daily-driver vehicle frame just wire brush a bit, maybe use a paint prep or some carb cleaner to clean off wax and grease, then once that's dried off then spray. Done. I can recommend this paint highly for its stated use. ... show more

  • Not satin
Color: Satin Black
I like this product, however I received a mislabeled can. I have used a few of these cans and my local place was out of satin so I ordered from here. Turns out they were out of satin too and just labeled a can of gloss, satin. Not what I wanted but nobody is held to a standard these days.

  • Very runny
Color: Gloss Black
Sprays great, looks good but very runny. I know what I'm doing and I still get runs unexpectedly. Not sure why, gotta be the paint.

  • Defective can
Color: Satin Black
5 out of 6 cans worked fine. Number 6 was defective, no spray nozzle. No big deal, but upon putting a nozzle from another can, it shot out spattered chunks of paint. Lucky this is a mud truck chassis, so it's not like it's going to be a show truck. But for the price, to have a can short, forcing me to buy more to finish my project, and ruining what was otherwise a nice paint job I give 2 stars. A little quality control and my paint would have been perfect and I would not have had to run to the store to finish. I paid premium price for premium paint. Not dollar store crap. ... show more

  • Awsome
Color: Satin Black
This is the best looking paint I have seen. Just to test it, since it was freshly painted, I had some other cans of black laying around so I painted a couple other similar objects with them. Again, this is the best finish I have seen from a spray can. Wish the finish on a couple of my high dollar guns were this nice lol. We'll see how it fair's against wear with time. Update 9/16/2012, I painted my weight lifting bars with this stuff and, it did hold up for a little while. They are outside here in southern Louisiana and are exposed to a lot of moisture even though they are under the car port. During the hurricane they did get rained on quite a bit and thats when the paint came off in a bunch of big areas. Adhesion seemed to be the problem with the paint. My prep work was light sanding and then degreasing with rubbing alcohol. It did stand up to me using the bars regularly before that, though. I guess you just cant let whatever you paint get rained on. ... show more
