Figured id take a chance with this brand, and I'm pretty happy so far. Was concerned about the low price initially, but it seems to be decent quality. Bought it specifically for my work laptop which is a Panasonic Toughbook. Fits snug, straps in tight. Main zipper is perfectly concealed and seals nicely. Straps are padded and comfortable. Stitching is well done, and the bag feels good on my back. Internal pockets fit tablets and binders, and the side pocket holds the charger with the detachable cord portion stored in the separate front pocket (can't really fit the entire charger in the side pocket without winding it up very tight). Haven't really had any use for the USB cord yet. Depending on how long the bag lasts, will most likely buy again. ... show more

So this isnt the 100 buck super high security pack with the cables and anti-cut through. Its the 50 buck pretty good security pack. I like that it has no externally facing pockets to thwart thieves. has a notebook pocket and MANY pockets inside. great. Its replacing a camera bag and plus a notebook for me as I lomp around mexico. Downside? would like some straps on the side to attach a small tripod. would love a big mesh pocket on one side for a chunky waterbottle. But overall it was the best I could find. Has a top strap. great. i had a sling pack. they set it up so you could only sling it on the left shoulder. grrr. so that led me to this. does the strap get in the way? minor. the cross check connector for the straps just annoys me I have to chop that off (Update, it unhooks from 2 straps that are flat so you wont ever know it was there before). The material outside isn't fancy cordura or leather, but it is a tougher vinyl. I like the built in lock with combo for the main zipper. there is a zipper on your back side (thieves cant get to it) but you can quickly slip off the pack and access. Overall a brainy solution to the tough problem of security while traveling. good job guys. ... show more

I really like this back pack, I have found it secure and well designed. I mostly work from home, but have been forcing myself to work at different locations at least once a week. I have 2 old HypherX headphone bags I use in my setup. I toss the power cord and mouse in one bag and the headphones in the other. I put these bags in the backpack with the laptop and I'm out the door. Loading the backpack takes less then 5 minutes and setup even faster where I working from. Every pocket seem to be the right size and in the right place. Like, the sunglasses pocket is at the top, inside the backpack with a soft no scratch material in it. The chest strap has really helped my back when I walk with the bag for extended periods or stand in airport lines forever. You would be every pleased to use this backpack for your primary laptop and tablet. It is honestly much, much better than I expected. It is a great size for carryon and great design for holding and ware ... show more

The backpack is a bit larger than originally thought, but it fits nicely! I know keeping your stuff on the side of your back (hidden pocket) is not the most comfortable thing, but it accomplishes what I needed: a safe way to travel and walk around a not so safe country without getting robbed, making it harder for thieves to open my backpack! :) Also, a great plus that I missed for several years with another backpack that broke and couldn't get again: it has a cover for when it rains!! when traveling this is a major feature! and also, the pocket for the water bottle can be used or kept inside another pocket. Has a lot of different compartments inside of it, a real flexible way to use it! I got a lot of compliments because it looks really nice, even someone at the airport asked me about the brand because he really liked it. The main compartment holds a laptop, books, pens, etc. There are two pouches in the main compartment that can hold sunglasses, wallet, cosmetics and more. Under those two pouches is a zipper which opens up a whole compartment where I've been able to store a change or two of clothes/layers for a weekend trip. I was amazed that rolling a few light layers should make this bag so useful! This bag also has a side pocket that holds a pouch for your water bottle, and there's a strap that keeps it close to the body of the pack - a key ring tab is part of this pocket also, but if you want to zip it into the pocket, you can't use the bottle pouch (weird). There's a rain cover for the bag which I've not used yet, and I'll also say that it fits the size requirements for most airline personal items, just check before hand and load the bag appropriately. I'd totally buy this bag again, and I hav e a few friends who are buying it too, now that they've seen how awesome it is. ... show more
