I bought 3 of these for my wife and daughter. We fully packed them. Airline did not say a word. We took these on a plane for FREE. I can't say anything bad about this backpack. It's just as perfect as it can get. It's very roomy, has so much space. The side clips for making it tight is the best idea. Material is very nice and durable. It's beautiful. Very comfortable. i took this as my carry on for my 3 week trip to europe. i did everything with this backpack, from being on a 9 hour plane ride to climbing the alps in austria. i’m obsessed with this backpack. there’s a hidden pocket to carry things like your passport and phone, there’s an easy access pocket, and dozens of more pockets. if i’m being honest, i could’ve packed two weeks worth of clothes in this backpack alone. it came wrinkled, but nothing a flat iron can’t fix. it has support on both sides through the adjustable straps, it has a buckle, a port for a charger, a separate bottom pocket for shoes, i mean, this thing can do it all. get it get it get it. ... show more

Hey, it was winter so it rained. Waterproof, proven! It has a lot of space and pockets. Was comfortable to wear, as there is a lower back pad. Really has all the bells and whistles. I was pretty impressed by the quality of the item, the color was vibrant and the materials, zippers, etc felt sturdy especially for the price. the padding on the back was comfortable, and I liked the sternum trap, but the straps were not comfortable. I prefer curved straps as they fit me better. The bag was a good size for me as I am not very tall (5’4). If you are a light packer you can fit about a weeks worth of clothing/toiletries which is nice, but if you pack bulky items or shoes it might be a challenge. I returned the bag because I found one with more comfortable straps, but this would have been my second pick. ... show more

Packed to the max, fit well under the airline seat in front of me. Was able to get so much stuff packed into it. There was so much room! The only issue I had with the USB port--stitching on the slot made it inaccessible to slot a USB into, but it's not a deal-breaker for me, as I don't usually charge devices that way anyway. Lots of pockets. I ordered the teal-colored version and it was beautiful. A little chafing on the arm straps in arm pit area if I didn't use the across-chest connector. This backpack holds an unbelievable amount of stuff, I had two large pairs of men's tennis shoes in there, there was a place for my iPad & a place to put the qt. size bag of liquids going through TSA handy. Lots of pockets for other things to stay organized. Very good quality bag & really looks good, I love it. The only thing I would change is the sleeve on the back to put onto your rolling carryon suitcase. It's very tight on my Away carryon bag, and hard if the bag is full to get it on and off by myself. Make the strap a bit bigger, or put a little elastic on each end of the strap/sleeve and it would be the perfect backpack! ... show more

I bought this for my short trip that is coming up. I could fit 4 pairs of clothes, all of my toiletries, and my entire skincare routine, plus some other stuff. The shoe compartment has a gigantic pocket, and if you try to fit multiple pairs in the bag, it will take up a lot of your space in the large compartment. Loved: separate compartment accessible from the bottom of the backpack for my shoes, with little air holes at the bottom. A lot of different pockets for storage, no more padding your weekend bag with extra bags to hold your small items - just use the built-in ones. Also love the "secret" zipper against your back. I put my passport and important documents here knowing they can't be pick-pocketed. I give the weather-proofness an A+. Both the tablet-sized and laptop-sized compartments have a further waterproof interior lining. Has a chest-strap that really helps take the weight off your shoulders. The dimensions are perfect. I checked the dimensions of this versus those posted on Jet Blue's website, and it qualifies as a personal item. Took it to NYC via them no problem. The adjustable straps on the outside make it so you can cinch it down tight. The zipper goes 3/4 of the way around, so you can flip it open like a suitcase rather than be digging around blindly looking for things. Didn't love: I felt the chest-strap could have been padded better. The "water bottle" pocket on the side is too small and it's only on one side. I put my umbrella in it though. I wish the material on the bottom side of the backpack were black. My fault for buying a light color, but I was just wary all the time of where I set it (cuz airports..) ... show more
