The tongs are bent at the wrong spot so they don't actually line up at the bottom, the jigger doesn't have any measurements and the metal inside is dented and scuffed. I'm sure it'll work fine and look ok from a distance but I assume if you're looking at a set this cheap then you're not exactly trying to impress the big boys. It'll do its job.

I've held out on getting a bartender kit for too long, so this is a welcome upgrade from shaking around two glasses smashed together and picking seeds out of my drinks. It looks nice as a set and the pieces I've used so far have worked well. That said, the jigger is lightweight and the paint is off on it, and the tongs spring out of the holder every time we put them in. These aren't major annoyances, but they do downgrade the feeling of quality of the full set. Still, you're either paying ~$30 for something like this or >$100 for a professional set, so I'd say this checks the box for the middle-of-the-road option when you aren't actually a bartender and just want access to the tools for the occasional cocktail.

The gold bartender set is very attractive but not overly robust as the metal is thin, still it’s perfect for my home bar set up. Everything I need is right at my fingertips, neat and elegantly displayed. I’ve yet to marshal my inner mixologist so haven’t used all the tools but I’m going to have fun experimenting now that I have everything I could need to be creative. At very least (at least for now) it’s good to know that the shaker doesn’t leak and the dual sided measure is a plus for multiple liqueur recipes. Overall this is a nice bar set and it would also make a nice housewarming or Christmas gift. Cheers and enjoy!
