Very sturdy and customizable, we love the product so far. The plastic covers for the tops and bottoms of the frame are somewhat difficult to put on, some may break. The hammer issued with the product is weak and breaks apart. You need quite a bit of force to get the shelves together, which was somewhat difficult. I took it as a positive sign that the unit would not come apart once put together; unless forcibly taken apart with a rubber mallet again. The bottoms do not have adjusters, so floor must be level. I made the mistake of not checking beforehand. However, the unit is very sturdy so unless you make it extremely top heavy, I do not believe it will tip over. We love the product, we house our reptiles in 120gal, and a 40gal, and have our flat screen on the top shelf. We have room to grow still. So overall, product is great! ... show more

I replaced a smaller shelf unit from Husky with the same design and this one is MUCH nicer. Notably the brackets that hold the two sections of corner angle together are very sturdy and much better than what came with my other shelf. 4 stars for two reasons: 1. The unit is taller than 72" as described. My basement is just over 6' tall and I had to cut off about 6 inches of the angle brackets to get it to fit. 2. I don't really trust the quoted weight limit (my heaviest shelf is bowing a bit, and it has maybe 175 lbs on it), but I am not going to push it to it's limit and it works fine for what I need. ... show more

I used this to put large tub of fabric on. You need to pay attention to the correct up and down way to put corner bars up. We put some on upside down and had to take it apart which wasn't too easy after you have put the uppers corner posts on.

Bought several of these shelving units for basement to store holiday decorations. The boxes arrived badly beat up, and I was afraid that there may be pieces damaged or missing. One shelf had bent a bit but otherwise was okay (my husband was able to bend back into shape). Packaging could have been better to protect against the shipping company's tendency to roughly handle boxes of this size. The shelves themselves went together very quickly and easily, but it helps to have two people assembling them as the larger units have rather heavy pieces. They hold a lot of weight on each shelf and look nice. I like that you can customize the height of each shelf to your needs. I would recommend these units for garage/basement storage. ... show more

I have no experience with storage racks outside of this one, so I cannot compare it to others. However, I can attest that this unit is relatively easy to assemble, and once assembled, it is sturdy and durable. The small rubber mallet that comes with it is essentially useless, so I advise getting a larger rubber mallet ($7-$15), and using that bang the pieces into place. I bought two- took about an hour each to put together. As others say- mallet is junk. Took me a bit to get the “swing” down to make the shelves fit in correctly. One of the knobs on the shelf bracket broke off during installation, otherwise there were no hiccups. I would buy again at the $80 Prime Day deal, but not the regular price. ... show more
