AS STATED THIS IS A MOTOR HOME LADDER, NOT A BOAT OR DOCK. IT IS THE PERFACT HEIGHT. IT IS LIGHT, VERY TIGHT FIT, OPEN AT THE TOP, SO YOU CAN PASS THROUGH. STURDEY BUT VERY LIGHT. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THE LEGS ARE SHARP AND REQUIRE SOME PADS, SO IT WON'T HURT THE FROOR. ALSO HAS HAND HOLDS AT THE TOP TO HELP TO GET IN THE BED. IT IS LIGHT AND MUST BE SECURED TO THE SIDE OF THE BED. I JUST USED THE OLD LADDER FITTINGS.

These work as advertised. My husband said they weren’t too difficult to assemble and install. They seem sturdy. I just wish they were angled more to make them easier to get out of the water onto the dock. Decent in appearance . But overall a good purchase.

I bought this as a present for my in-laws (with a selfish need of my own) for Christmas. Every year when we go down to the lake, everyone struggles up onto the dock and on their pontoon. And finally, I decided that they (and I ;-)) definitely needed this. Don't be surprised when the box shows up and it is taller than you! And the ladder has to be assembled, but it's not difficult. In-laws were ecstatic, and they can't wait to use it at the lake this spring and summer!

The item is totally useless. It is made of Non-anodized aluminum. It bubbles and emits oxidized secretions in my pool water. I contacted the vendor and explained the situation. I got questions back, as if they didn't know what I meant. I have since spent over $70 on products that claim to prevent the oxidation. We will see. Bottom line is that the ladder is crap. I wouldn't recommend to install it in a sewer. Sorry aboit the long-winded review, but I am extremely upset with this product.

I like it, sturdy and very simple. It's mounted to my deck for the above ground pool. The hook on features works really well and still allows you to remove it. Comes with rubber mats with adhesive for the steps. Cons: It's an all metal frame, including hand rail, so it'll hold heat on hot summer days. All the nuts and bolts are fully exposed, and longer than they need to be, making for a few hazards, most importantly the brakets that mount to the deck. The mounting bars for the deck need more room around the bolt hole, hand to finish it off with a wrench to tighten all the way (10 mm). Lastly, (maybe mine was by mistake) the hooking brackets are both set up to line in the left side of the frame. It's probably to save money, but make for an odd build when they should be symmetrical. Update: pool water is causing a yellow discoloration on paint.

The product did not have enough of the stick-on rubberized pads for the steps, so I ordered the rubber pads from customer support. After several weeks was sent something totally wrong. The ladder was assembled and waiting for the correct rubberized step pads under my barn covered porch out of the weather. After a few days the ALUMINUM ladder looked like a steel ladder that had been in water for years. It has rust all over it. I have never seen aluminum RUST. The rubberized pads that I installed originally, are all puckering up where the bolts go through them. This is a very inferior product that should not be advertised as aluminum, and the rubberized step traction pads should not be designed to be installed underneath the installation bolts due to deformation of the rubber when tightening the bolts. The company should also learn how to speak English so when there are problems with the order, they can be certain they understand what is needed, and send the correct replacement products.

This ladder was purchased for our lake dock, it attached very easily, and has worked great for the summer. I was surprised that it stayed slip resistant and held up great!! The dimensions were exactly what was advertised.
