  • Solid budget rig.
It’s a solid rig for the price that works for my MOZA R5 base and pedals. Instructions weren’t great but eventually figured out some of the missing/bad parts. Set up overall was a bit difficult and time consuming. Once set up it’s solid and there isn’t any movement other than the seat itself moving slightly. ... show more

  • Cheap. Broken within first week of having it.
The media could not be loaded. So I bought this cockpit thinking (and is totally my fault) it was just a less expensive version of the NLR F-GT cockpit. Came with no instructions so I had to hunt that down off of the internet and happen to find it on NLR’s site. Seat broke with little to no pressure from the back. Not worth it at all. I do NOT recommend ... show more

  • Minor Design Flaws, seems made for shorter people.
I purchased this product after eying the NLR version. I figured that since this was much cheaper it was worth the risk despite knowing this is probably a chinese knock off that might be a bit lower in quality. Good: -More affordable than the NLR -The chair itself seems more comfortable and looks better. -Has some adjustability, -Ultimately pretty sturdy with a pretty negligible amount of movement. Bad: -Instructions are a little vague. For the most part they are easy to figure out despite this, but I personally had trouble with the attaching the chair which was the final step. The instructions really didn't show much and I found that I needed to first remove the slider mechanism from the chair and attach that first then attach the chair to that since it was just a bit easier to access those bolts. ultimately this step was the one problematic one that I felt was not designed well and was difficult to assemble. -The pictures and instructions show the cockpit with the steering wheel stand attached closer than the pedals, however I found that even with the chair fully back, this left the steering wheel too close (and I'm short). I had to actually flip these and put the pedals inside of the steering column to make it work. As a result the pedals are a bit closer but I'm only 5"4 so this works out fine for me. But I imagine someone tall would have a problem. -The pedal plate is to wide, so if you attached it behind the steering column, you can't tilt it much because it hits the inside of the steering wheel column brackets so you're basically stuck with only 2 positions or so in the intended configuration. -The tilt on the steering wheel plate has a tiny bit of give up and down to it so even when it's fully tight can slightly tilt it up if you push up hard enough since there is a little bit of plate in the bold holes. Ultimately as long as you just let it naturally sit in the groove, it won't move on you during racing since if anything you'll be pulling down, not pushing up on the steering wheel. -The steering colum has a tiny gap and bit of play where it attaches to the frame meaning you can sort of wiggle the steering column a tiny bit up and down. I found that by just taking some sort of thin piece of metal (I used the little free wrenches that were included) and jamming them into the gap a little keeps it really stable. -The bolts that attach the steering colume to the frame are a little short. They work and go all the way trough the frame to grab the nut, but it probably should have a few extra threads since it barely as enough to grab the nut at the end and tighten. Still works and doesn't feel lose, but just a minor area of improvement. Basically this chair took a few hours of messing around with, trying different configurations, adjusting things, etc. it order to finally get it all feeling good, but it was a tiny bit of a puzzle to that. I'm not sure how the NLR compares in this and if it has similar issues. Overall while this was a tiny bit of a pain to assemble and adjust the right positions, now that I have it setup for me it works well. I just am not sure how a taller person would actually use this chair because you can't really attach the pedals after the steering column. To me it feels like the entire frame just needs to be way longer and the chair needs more movement front to back. That way there is actually more adjustability where as right now, it seems that all of the adjustability is misleading because you really need to have things in a pretty specific position for it to be even remotely ergonomic. Again, I'm only 5"4 and not sure how this might have effected my experience in finding the right setup for it. ... show more

  • Great budget sim rig
UPDATE 2/6/24 The seat is already broken and wobbles back and forth. No matter how much it is tightened it is not sturdy. Really disappointed as I liked the rig. Its a great sim rig for the price. I was looking at the NLR F-GT cockpit but chose this as it was on sale for $255 vs almost $600. The build quality is great but my biggest issue the instructions on putting it together. It skips several steps and uses wrong instructions. Use the NLR F-GT instructions as its the same steps to put it together. -One tip is when attaching the "side frames" to the "floor posts", use a washer as the bolt is too long or you can sand it down 1-2 mm. -The other pain point was attaching the seat support bars to the frame. It shows you use a long bolt that goes through the frame but you actually use 2 short bolts as seen in the F-GT instructions step 4. -13mm ratcheting wrench is your best friend If your on a tight budget but want the ability to switch from GT to formula racing, this is a great option. If you have $500-$600, i would consider the Marada aluminum rail cockpits. ... show more

  • Solid “budget” rig
Apprehensive about picking this one up when (at the time) there were no reviews, and no youtube reviews that i could find. Directions aren't bad, clear enough, bolts, washers, and nuts were all labeled, frame parts werent, but they were easy to decipher. 6’ 1”, 270 lbs, fits fine, seat is all the way back but you can move it back a little more if you bolt it in differently, but very solid overall. I like the adjustability of this one, basically however you want it to go you can angle, change height, and distance of wheel, pedals, and shifter. Comes with screws that bolts right up to a logitech g29 setup. Nice little upgrade from a desk setup. Seat is comfortable, setup was fairly easy, and its a solid rig not just for a “budget” cockpit, but I feel its a great buy at $320ish. Looking forward to racing tonight! ... show more

  • Great product for the price
Product is very sturdy and great for the price. My only complaint is the directions are not very detailed. Instructions on adjusting the pedals/wheel stand would be ideal.

  • Great frame
Caught it on a good coupon deal and it is solid. A couple of scratches when it showed up and there are a few bolts that really suck to put in. Very little wobble once together. My only real complaint is that as someone with longer legs, I’m a wishing for a bit more distance between the seat and pedals. Would definitely buy again all in all though. ... show more
