I got this for my wife for her birthday. It got here much quicker than I thought it was going to and she was so excited to start using it. While it does work… It is advertised as 0-300RPM, but it does not go slower than 60 RPM. When I contacted the company about it, they just told me to return it. I did that and had a new one sent out while I waited for an answer about the speed. Eventually they got back to me and told me that it does not go slower than 60rpm. First of all, it should, as it is advertised as going slower. But it needs to go slower to complete projects. The fact that it’s advertised incorrectly, and that I had such a hard time with customer service to get a straight answer is why I give it two stars. It works. It turns on. I realize for the cost, it does OK. But advertise things correctly and don’t be so difficult when a customer is trying to get information.

I’ve had the opportunity to use this wheel and it seems to work as it is supposed to with my limited knowledge of pottery throwing. However, for the price I paid I would expect it to be in perfect condition from the start. The box was not damaged but there is a sizeable dent in the body of the wheel right next to the control panel. So I would assume this was done prior to packaging. It would seem there is an issue with quality control.

The media could not be loaded. It was delivered early and was really excited to start this new hobby. It does leak and weird enough the lowest speed is 60z. Which is really too fast to shape the clay. Disappointed. The tools also had rust on them and I am not sure if this was already a returned item. Was really looking forward to using it.
