Product looked good in pics. When it arrived I noticed the crank handle was removable and cheaply made. I went ahead and installed the winch and after using 3 or 4 times on a 16/50 aluminum Jon boat both crank rods that the handle connects to broke. One right after the other! Sorry I can’t recommend this item!!

Bought this as a cheaper alternative to a motorized winch. Plan to use for light duty. Looks to be well constructed. Would be nice if came withounting hardware. And a collapsible crank handle. But assume it's meant for permanent mounting? Overall good. We will see how it stand up.
