First impression out of the box was that the cover is high quality heavyweight water proof coated material. The edges of each panel are and sturdy. Assembly was quick and easy, just push together fittings. There is a typo and mixing up of images on steps 4-5, but it is easy to reconcile (step 4 should read "Take 1 straight connector and link it with round pipe D" and the pictures for steps 4 & 5 should be swapped). The instructions are otherwise straightforward. Do make sure to confirm each pipe if firmly pressed into the fitting and that each set of similar pipe you construct is the same length as you go. One final note on the instructions is that they list a couple of add on accessories, but not them as such, so to be clear no tie down materials are included. The specifics of attaching the cover to your specific generator will vary, but here are several straps and velcro options included. In my case, I just added a couple of straps to test fit it, but could certain see a few options to get it set sounds in place. The top is attached with velcro after entire frame is secured to the generator. Each outer corner straps to another to keep the flaps down. To put a flap up, the simply fold and hook it to the metal loops above the flap. Pretty simple and it fits firmly in place, so it should not blow out of place easily in windy weather. The design allows for sufficient ventilation on one or more sides at a time and their is ample access to controls and outlets. It is also easy to pull back the top cover and refuel without fully removing it. The generator I tested it on is on the smaller side of medium-sized generators, and the cover can definitely accommodate and protect a good bit taller, wider, and longer generator easily. Overall, the frame is solid build quality (considering it is just push together plastic elbows and metal tubing), the cover is heavy duty, assembly is quick and easy, and the size and functionality should fit the needs to most medium and larger portable generators. Very happy with the item and will not hesitate to use to protect any of my generators.

I got this for times that I need to run my generator when there is a bad storm, I live off grid and there are times that I had a bad solar day and did not capture much energy to put into the batteries, so I need to have a generator rolling to maintain power. This fits both of my inverter generators perfectly! I finally have peace of mind knowing that in a bad storm that could last all night, I'm able to keep the generator covered and safe during the storm. It's nice that I can roll up the back side to allow the exhaust to vent while it maintains a good barrier around the electricals and air intake to keep the generator from getting wet. This is very high quality, much higher quality than a standard generator cover, it has an entire frame that you have to assemble and then attach to the generator to keep it from going anywhere, it can roll up any of the sides and even opens on the top to allow you to add fuel to your generator. This is a great value as most of these come in well over $100 and this comes in under $90. At this price point I'm considering purchasing a second one to have one for both generators, that way if I need to run both at the same time I can. Thank you Vevor!

I hate having to store my generator outside but also don't like that it takes up so much space in the garage. This lets me keep it outside under my deck. My generator is a 6k model and this completely covers and keeps it dry. The material is thicker than you are expecting and there is no question this will last and not be hurt by the elements or cat that is going to sleep on top of it.

I didn’t fully appreciate how durable this generator cover was going to be when I ordered it. It not only covers the generator, but the internal frame creates a house like enclosure. Because of the frame, the cover can stay on while the generator is in use, and I love that feature. I live in hurricane country and I have never liked the idea of just leaving my generator sitting in the flooding rains during bad storms. Although I have never had a generator die due to exposure to the weather, it just seems logical that all of the water is going to shorten the life expectancy of the generator. I have tried other frameless, essentially tarp style covers, but I don’t think they provide enough air flow around the generator to prevent overheating problems. This frame-in cover provides more airflow so the generator will stay cool. The cover material is durable and keeps the water out. I will likely use some kind of tie down to keep the cover from blowing away in a hurricane, but I feel like I am better equipped for the next big storm.
