Some of the reviews have been mixed on this jack, so I wasn't sure about it, but decided to order it to see for myself. I have at least one other product from this company, Vevor, and it also was very well made. This is a heavy jack and the box was slightly damaged when I received it but everything in it was well protected with no issues. I wasn't sure how to use it at first and the provided manual is ok but not great. I watched a few videos that explained it all. At first, I couldn't pull the handle away from the jack, but then I realized this is a feature to keep it in place. It just takes a little muscle to move the handle. Love that this includes the heavy plastic base and the handle keeper. All jacks in every size should include this. I tried the jack out on my boat trailer with the boat on it and it worked without an issue. I'm very impressed. Fit and finish were very good, and it operated smoothly. We'll see how it does long term, but so far, it's a winner. Some of the negative reviews, even for other, more expensive US brands, may possibly be from abuse or misuse. Vevor is a very large company that is expanding its presence and making a good effort to provide an excellent product.

This seems very hefty, which I guess it has to be to support 7,000 pounds! Unfortunately, the first one I got had what I judged to be a significant manufacturing defect, possibly impacting safety. When I reported it, Vevor promptly sent me a new jack, which appears to be fine. It worked great standing up a blown-over apple tree I wanted to save. Its next assignment will be to hold up a rotted roof support beam in a large shed while a replacement is installed. It comes with a rectangular steel plate that's not mentioned in the manual. It allows using the jack as a "come-along" for pulling things together. I also ordered the accessory adapter that allows using it to pull T-stakes out of the ground, because the stake jack I have isn't powerful enough to pull some of mine out. Unless you only plan to use this on concrete floors, get the extra "bigfoot" bottom expander. I'd call it essential for working outdoors on wet ground. I drilled 2 small holes in mine and fastened it to the jack's metal foot with zip ties, to avoid the annoyance of it falling off every time I move the jack.
