I had high hopes for this pump. However, I was disappointed because it does not have enough suction to draw the fuel up into the pump and then move along for dispensing. The pump is nice and looks well made it just does not have enough suction on the input side. The hose that goes to the input side of the pump is also nice and sturdy. The hose on the discharge or dispense side of the pump resembles the type of hose you would see at a traditional gas pump, but it is not reinforced so it is flexible, etc. the handle is Nice. Again, however, it did not lift the fuel into the pump out of a 55 gallon drum. Once it had fuel in it, I was unable to return it to Amazon. I called them and they were gracious about it and told me not to return it because it had a hazardous liquid in it. It may work for some applications, perhaps I just got a defective or weak pump, but I cannot recommend it.

This is a great pump and I feel like it out performs the 10 gpm stated in the item details. Don’t hesitate to get this package deal. The only downside is the fuel delivery hose. It’s very thin and kinks easily. If you’re going to be using this pump very often, I’d go to Tractor Supply or your local farm store and get a quality hose.

This fuel transfer pump is a beast. It fits in the case with a drill battery charger adapter purchased separately. I can fill up a 55 gallon drum full of fuel in less than 5 minutes on a drill battery. One thing I like about this kit is that all of the fittings come with an o-ring installed. Just assemble and tighten. This is well worth the money to me as there are times I have to transfer aircraft fuel quickly. Pump speed is perfect for filling a fuel tank or 55 gallon drum.

Good pump; but apparently painted after all assembled. Very difficult to get screws loose to do the wiring. There is a long adjustable inlet pipe; but it cannot be made short enough for on-truck fuel tanks. We cut it off with a band saw. But then you loose the flared end.
