The Vetro Power Shoe Protection Spray worked like a charm. The product comes in an easy to use spray bottle with clear instruction on how to apply. After cleaning my shoes and applying the spray, I waited 24 hours to test it out. There was no residue left on my shoes after applying and they looked the exact same as before which I was happy to see. Once I poured some water on them the evidence was clear. This product REALLY works. My shoes mesh fabric used to allow any amount of water through, and with Vetro the water COMPLETELY rolls off, leaving my shoes dry and protected! I bought this protection spray for my very light pink colored Nike sneakers. My pink Nike's get dirty very easy because they are so light in color. If you need to protect your shoes from dirt I highly recommend this product.

I purchased a pair of golf shoes that were not waterproof and wanted to at least have some degree of water resistance in the mesh uppers. Purchased this because it doesn't contain fluorinated compounds and figured since made in Germany that this product might work. I followed the directions exactly and so far the shoes have good water resistance. This product did not alter the color of the mesh or other shoe materials, which is good. ... show more

Wow. Truly useless. Followed pain-in-the-neck directions to the letter: 3 applications, rub each in with soft brush, dry 10 minutes between coats, air dry 24 hours. After 30 hours, ran toe of sneaker under thin stream of water and it was absorbed in under a second. I will say, it hasn't turned my white sneakers yellow (yet anyway), so at least I didn't spend $16 to ruin them--just $16 to have them be exactly as they were anyway (for free).
