The picture makes it seem more opaque than it is, it’s pretty thin and I can definetly see light through it but it’s not horrible. It is bigger than I expected but it ended up working perfectly. The color is spot on and it was super easy to hook up for me because I already had a hook in my ceiling so I don’t know about what it came with but from the looks of it, it looks easy but not durable. I actually use this VETHIN bed canopy over my baby’s crib to help block the light coming from a ceiling dome in our room. It works pretty well for that and creates a soft, cozy space. The fabric is lightweight and it looks very cute once installed. It adds a nice decorative touch and helps dim the light a bit, which is helpful when the baby is sleeping. The only thing I wish is that it were a little wider. It covers part of the crib nicely, but it would be even better if it fully covered the entire crib area to block more light. Overall it’s still a nice canopy and does the job, but a slightly larger size would make it even better. ... show more

What I really wanted was something for my daughter to look up at times and have a certain light with her. The canopy itself does the job. Its semi see through if you look into it in the light.
