I love trying new skin/ lip care products. This Swedish brand Verso had me very interested. Although I was able to try the daily foaming cleanser this review is for the lip serum with retinol 8. First let's start with price $65 USD. If that's in my budget for a skincare product. For me to purchase it, it would have to meet certain criteria. Prior to putting this serum on my lips I researched the ingredients. After applying and using twice daily I have to see it makes my lips appear plumper and feel nice. This serum claims to turn back the time by getting rid of the lines in we may have in our. Some have more than others. I would love to keep using this product and would spend the $65 if I thought that price tag was worth preventing more lines and or dark spots on the lips. Although a very good serum, I have not found any evidence that this product will help repair and take away time. It's preventative only. I have found most skincare is preventative. Especially when it claims otherwise. ⭐ My final thoughts. No I personally can find more important skincare to spend $65 on. If you don't mind that this serum will not take away time from your lips but will prevent more damage with continuous use and it's in your budget. YES! I must recommend this lip serum.

I think I’ve been using for 2 weeks now, maybe, and I can’t say I’m seeing even a slight diff in my lips. I won’t be purchasing again.

I discovered Verso lip serum a few years ago through Nordstrom when they were selling it for $98 per tube. It wasn’t sold in stores. Only online and it was always out of stock. It was an awesome product! Something has changed. Not for the better. The serum’s recipe is different; it’s not nearly as good. It doesn’t work nearly as well. It doesn’t feel the same, taste the same, smell the same or even look the same. And it’s way less expensive now. It might even be a thick petroleum jelly for all I know. Nordstrom doesn’t off it any more which is a good indication that it’s not a good product anymore. I won’t pay the $65 that Verso asks for it. I’ll pay the super market price that Vaseline asks for their petroleum jelly and get the same thing.

This 58 year old who has lived in the sun, smiles (probably too much) all the time believes this product is actually working to make my lips fuller and soften lip lines around my lips. It’s a thick formulation, so it stays on well. I like to put it on just before bed. As my lips are improving, my cosmetics are staying on longer during the day and staying in place better.

This lip serum is decent but could be better. You get a good amount of serum in the tube and it's a decent sized tube too. The applicator is beveled and wide which makes if easy to apply. The taste isn't terrible but it isn't good either, I think it tastes just like vaseline. I don't feel like it makes a huge difference other than making your lips smooth and glossy. I've noticed a slight amount of fullness but not as much as I would expect from a high end product and I've been using it for 3 weeks now. Also, in the morning when I haven't applied it for at least 8 hours, my lips aren't any plumper than they originally where on day 1. I do feel like my lips are more hydrated though. I would like to add that this doesn't tingle like a plumper so I don't think it's a good product if your wanting immediate fullness. I will continue to use until I run out and update if anything miraculous happens between now and then. For now, I wouldn't recommend this product.
