Phone is a lot better than I thought got it for my daughter to use with wifi. And maybe eventually turn on with are Verizon account. But just to let anyone know if they are getting it to use as a wifi phone for your child you will need a Verizon account and use your Sim card from you phone to bypass the activation screen and from there you can take it out and put back in your phone and now its ready for your child. ... show more

What a waste of money !!! Do NOT get this phone is you want to use WiFi only for your kids. Cannot get past the first page after turning it on. Needs to be activated with Verizon before going any further. Yet here’s the kicker……. When I tried to do that after already aggravated with not being able to use it …. It will not allow my zip code to make an account (let’s all neighboring zip codes) , when trying a neighboring zip code , won’t allow me to pay using my cards because they have my normal zip code as an address !!! Wtf ! This is insane for a cheap Verizon Amazon phone ! What a joke! So not only a waste of money but a very disappointed Christmas for a child ! Things like this should be POSTED SO BUYERS ARE AWARE !!!!! ... show more

This phone is great as a secondary or backup device. However, the listing didn’t clearly mention that a Verizon SIM card is required to activate and complete the initial setup — even if you only plan to use it on Wi-Fi. We had to borrow a Verizon SIM from a family member just to get past the activation screen, which was inconvenient. After setup, the phone works fine and came brand new, but keep this in mind before buying that you need an verizon sim just to set it up, Also came in brand new, camera is fine for this budget, battery is great, so yeah, and works with Verizon and Tracfone only!! ... show more
