I’ll just add to the other reviews by saying that this spray has stopped my hair from frizzing and poofing out in foggy/rainy weather. No other product has helped with that issue without weighing my hair down. Amazing!

Instructions say to spritz this though damp hair before blow drying, and I added a touch of the Verb oil on my ends as well. Product leaves my damaged semi-curly semi-flat (in the wrong places) hair looking and feeling healthy, soft and shiny. Haven't found a product from this company that I don't like. I also occasionally spritz my dry hair with this, it adds body and shine. Love everything about it, including the bottle, which creates a nice fine mist. ... show more

    • Gives new life in so many ways
This stuff is pretty amazing. Once you find the perfect amount to use, it gives new life to your hair. The first time I used it was right after a shower before bed. I woke up in the morn after sleeping on damp hair in no protection wrap or cap, went in the bathroom, looked in the mirror and said, "oh my." My hair was not what I expected. It was much better. No frizz, no weird dents or kinks or puff balls. No cotton ball mess of hair to spritz and comb out. No waves or curls that went haywire. And it looked and felt smooth, shiny, and healthy. Full of life. I noticed a few small parts where it did seem like I got too much concentration of it and could feel it on my hair. I had sprayed it directly onto my fairly thin hair and combed through, but didn't put much attention or bother into it in regards to working it through good or scrunching it in or anything since I was going to bed. But, no worries. I just used a little dry shampoo on those areas, put it up and went about my day. Next time I used it I made sure to work it through better and watch how much I use. Then I started spraying into my hands to apply. I prefer this method for any thicker leave in spray because of my hair being thin. Some sprays just come out too heavy or too much in straight lines of spray rather than misting a broader area. They land in heavy plops and just don't work out so well when you have thinner hair. So, spraying into hands and then applying works better. Ever since, I've loved this stuff. I don't use it every day, but just now and then when I want a lil oomph or my hair has been looking dull and bland and miserable. It does seem to be like a treatment in function because I can tell the benefits last a few days, my hair feels better for days even when washing between uses. While the shine it gives isn't like when you use an oil spray, it is a nice healthy shine and the strands feel sealed up and smooth. But you never feel like you actually have product in your hair. There is no gunky, weird, greasy, etc etc feel and it doesn't interfere with any other styling products, although I actually love using it on its own when I'm not styling my hair or doing anything to my hair. It makes my usually drab mousy dull air dried hair look like it actually has some life and vibrancy. Soft, bouncy. Light definition. Heat styling worked out great and that is where a lot of all in one leave ins leave me disappointed. My hair is sensitive to heat and heat styling. I know the temp I need, I know I need a good protectant, and I know I need to add extra moisture before and after or else my hair will smell like its been scorched and just feel wrecked. For years and years the only leave in that I trusted for an all around product like that is Alterna Caviar. I mainly use a stand alone heat protectant along with a leave in whenever I use heat tools. This verb spray is now a new trusty rusty in my line up and I know I can trust it for heat styling, plus all the other great benefits. Definitely one to try. I have been using it off and on for 2 months now and now that I have the amount, application method, and all that stuff all worked out, I really love it. This Verb Glossy Shine Spray with Heat Protection - Vegan Sulfate Free Paraben Free Moisturizing Hair Spray for All Hair Types - Adds High Shine and Primes for Styling, 6.5 fl oz is simple to use: spray it on damp hair before heat styling. It has a strong scent that fortunately dissipates quickly, because I don't like it much. As a heat protectant, I like this spray. It seems to work and help keep my hair from getting frizzy, but doesn't weigh it down like some sprays. Emphasizing the shine part, however, doesn't work for me because I didn't notice any shininess. This bottle isn't cheap, but a little bit of the product goes a long way. I definitely think it works to help make my styled hair look even better. ... show more

I thought that the Verb glossy heat protection spray was decent on my hair. Not the most pleasant smelling but it doesn't stick around for long. I've used it both on damp hair to blow dry and on dry hair to straighten or curl. It helps with frizz and gives my hair a light shine. It doesn't weigh my hair down.
