I love it and I love cloth purses because of arm issues. All the room and pockets I need and a lovely floral design on the outside. I do notice some differences in the newer Vera purses in material but not enough that I would not buy another.

I have been buying VB products for years. For the last several years I have mainly carried the on the go, and occasionally the small vera tote style. I was not happy at all with the rebrand. Mainly because all of the old styles are gone, and there is nothing comparable to the on the go style in this new rebrand. I have looked through the crossbody selection, and there is nothing for me. I don't want a wallet on a flimsy string, or a strangely shaped north/south bag. The on the go is a highly functional, sturdy, well made bag with a wide strap. It's not perfect but it works on many levels. I decided to try the new rothvale style. It is the only bag of all the new VB bags I thought might work. The bag itself is very big. The cotton is soft and well made. I do think the recycled cotton is softer, but this new cotton works fine. It is definitely an east/west style and roomy inside. The pattern colorful bouquet is also pretty, and good for fall, but the bag has two glaring issues, and because of those I wouldn't use the bag. First of all, the bag has a center divider inside. My mini ipad will barely fit in it, and my full size ipad will not. I don't know what the purpose of this divider is for. It is stiff and comes to the top of the purse. I find myself fighting with it to find things. Why is it there? The purse would be perfect inside other wise. It is large, roomy, has two wall pockets and a zip pocket. The second and bigger problem is the strap. It is too thin. The strap drop is short. Only a 9"inch drop. Forget wearing it in winter. It comes right under my armpit. But the worst part is the function of the strap. It has 3 snaps to make it short. When you extend the strap to its full length there is a knot at the top where the stitched straps meet. This is really uncomfortable on my shoulder and presses on a nerve if I have the bag too full. The bag is weighty empty already. It is a substantial bag. One last thing. I CANNOT BELIEVE that after rebranding their name and image, raising prices, and clearly trying to compete with the likes of Coach and other brands, VB is still sending their merchandise out in cheap, ugly plastic bags. What an ugly way to receive such a pricey bag. I recently purchased a wallet from Coach in their daisy multi print, and it came in a box and was nicely packaged, and had a good presentation. No, not with VB. No matter how much you pay, or what material you buy you get it in a cheap plastic bag. If VB wants to elevate themselves, and shed their old image they need to change this. It looks like VB and I are done as their is nothing for me to buy now that will work for my lifestyle. ... show more
