This is a beautiful sleek bag that has a slight puffy texture which makes it a light as a cloud. I love how it holds a lot whether books or clothes. The print inside is a perfect accent to the solid outside color and the straps are extremely soft and comfy with a small patch in center of different material so as not to slip off shoulder. The details of Vera Bradley are amazing. I think you'll find it the perfect bag for essentials. Only thing is it does not zip so keep that in mind if using on plane under seat. It does have a zip portion inside, pockets as you can see perfect for contact lens box, and an outside zip pocket. Straps go over shoulder, but not too long if you hold it down by side either. Unhappy with this Vera Bradley tote bag, from the images shown, the strap looked longer, and also look like there was a zipper closer. But neither one was there. Shoulder straps to short and no closer.

I’m a huge fan of Vera Bradley Bags and this tote is no exception! Beautifully crafted and very durable. I love the quilted design as it’s attractive, super lightweight and can easily be packaged into a travel bag if needed

I have several Vera Bradley pieces. This one is nice but I just don't think it's worth $100. I like the inside lining is the cotton floral print. At one point, Vera Brandley seemed to be putting cheap nylon lining in bags purchased from the store and not the outlet. This has a quilted nylon exterior. It does have some ribbon/fabric strips on that top of the straps to help it from sliding down your shoulder. But other than that, I don't see a ton of upgrades that make this a $100 bag. I like the internal and external pockets. But I don't really see the benefit of the side cinch pulls. It doesn't clasp or zipper at all. It's a good tote bag. I'm just not sure it's worth the price point. ... show more

This is a great, high-quality bag from Vera Bradley. I think it's interesting that she includes the pattern on the inside of the bag, whereas most of her bags show the pattern on the outside; but, I love how understated this tote is. The nylon makes it easy to keep clean, and the black color helps with that even more. The quilted stitching approach gives it a bit of chic character, and the pattern on the inside is beautiful (as usual). Size-wise this tote will hold quite a bit, so it's good that the material is lightweight to avoid adding any extra weight for you to "tote" around. I mostly use this bag to supplement my briefcase going in and out of work. I pack things like my lunch, my heels (our parking lot is huge, so I walk in flats into the office), and any other items for work that day in this bag, and it's just the right size to fit them without being overloaded. You could also easily fit a laptop and a few other items in here. Very practical, yet beautiful tote from VB! Recommend. ... show more
