Cute, large cosmetic bag. It definitely stores a lot. It's washable so that's a plus. But $40 for quilted nylon seems like a lot of money. Especially since the interior doesn't have the signature fun print I've come to expect from Vera Bradley.

This is a great upgrade for my wife's makeup bag. The material on the outside is very soft and luxurious feeling with the classic Vera Bradley quilting. She usually isn't a big fan of VB because of the bright and complex color designs so this one in all black is a great match for those that like more muted and subtle styles. On the interior there is a cleanable liner so just in case anything spills inside it won't ruin the bag all the way through and it can be cleaned out. The zippers are very smooth opening and closing and there was a pleasant surprise of a smaller exterior pocket we didn't realize it had, it blends in so well from the outside. Size-wise this bag is definitely not huge, but it does seem larger inside than it looks from the outside. It fits plenty of makeup, perfume and other cosmetics but it's not like a big door-hanging or multi-layer cosmetic bag. Overall this is a great makeup bag for day-to-day use and travel. This makeup bag is everything that I was looking for in a travel makeup bag. The design is very cute and look like a puffer jacket. The quality is durable and the inside is a nice vinyl that could be cleaned if anything spills inside. The zipper is nice and glides back and forth. I travel with this bag to and from work and it has all the room and function that I need. It is easy to open and great traveleability. My wife has a lot of different makeup and hair accessories. I thought this might be a nice bag for her to use when traveling since it isnt hard sided at all and will fit wherever she wants to pack it. It is nicely made, from quality materials, and is very soft to the touch. It is a medium sized bag so she can store quite a bit in it, and like I said before the packability is nice because it is conformable to just about any space.
