I got this bag to use as a diaper bag of sorts, sorry I know that’s a little silly. More like the bag that I shove a bunch of toys, snacks, wipes etc in that is just for a short outing. I love it. I’ve always wanted a Vera Bradley bag and never got it for myself in college. The butterfly patterns are so pretty first of all, it’s a simple yet pop of color design that feels less busy and more grownup. The inside is also a nice design, and it’s patterned in a way that I think will cover up most accidental stains too! This bag is super durable and comfortable to use, I’ve put so much in it and it’s held up no problem. I have several Vera Bradley items, and appreciate their pretty and whimsical fabric patterns, as well as how well made the items are. I also like that they are machine washable on the gentle cycle. Stores in my state no longer allow merchants to give out bags with purchases, and this tote is the perfect size to take along for shopping, as well as for bringing along extras items when travelling. The tote has a roomy zippered pocket on the interior, as well as two open pockets on the interior that are ideal for keeping a cell phone, and a pair of glasses. The Marrakesh Patchwork print tote that I chose is even prettier in person than I had anticipated it would be. I love the warm vibrancy of the colors, and the way the fabrics of the quilt coordinate with each other. The quilt pattern isn't merely printed on, but is an actual sewn patchwork of the various fabrics. There are strings on the inside of the sides that can be tied together to pull the sides towards each other and change the shape of the tote and make it look more like a handbag, if you prefer.
