My dad and brother came over to help install this and at first, we thought it was super difficult. After installing it 3 times, upon starting up the car, the belt would fly off every time! Well, we did some investigating and found it to be the tensioner pulley was bad. Once we replaced that, the belt went on with zero issues, we used in a 2008 Ford Focus and it worked perfectly. Will update in a few months, to verify it's still working. Thank you for a wonderful product that I didn't have to spend a hundred bucks to get. Update: The belt still working great. No issues!!     • Vortec 5.7 and 4.3 A\C bypass. No removal of compressor needed.
Fits perfect. 1998 GMC Yukon. 5.7 Vortec. Works on 4.3 Vortec too. My A\C seized. There is an existing pre tapped hole for the pulley, right below the compressor. You dont need to remove the compressor. There's enough room. Use this belt and an AC Delco pulley. Part# 12580772.
