I bought this purse in May 2022 and have used it almost daily (this writing is Oct 2023) since the purchase. It has held up nicely. There is not one loose seam or sign of damage. I am not rough on a purse but using it daily for work and shopping usually warrants a little wear and tear. It was a little dirty so I just washed it for the first time as instructed in the manufacturer's description which is wash on gentle cycle with cold water. I unhooked the shoulder strap and zipped it up inside the purse. I also washed it inside a garment bag. It looks great after the machine wash! I would highly recommend this purse. It is comfortable to carry on your shoulder and also has handy hand straps. It sturdiness is excellent as well. I like this a lot. It’s a good size and has pockets where I wanted them. I wish Vera Bradley would include a clip to attach keys. I actually cut one from a different bag that was worn out and sewed it into this bag.

Okay, I have pretty much the entire Hope Blooms collection but this multi-strap shoulder satchel is my fave, it's sooo perfect for carrying my 2.4lb chi. Two exterior pockets (one on ea side) house all her dog gear. The interior is large enough for my chi's 2'x2' sherpa/fleece blanket & her. She just snugs right in, happy as can be. The best part is the shoulder strap so I can go hands free while shopping, etc! I have another high end 'dog purse' that is super chic but it's also heavy & bulky for my small frame to carry around for any length of time. Vera Bradley knows purses. This is a well-sized bag for shopping trips. It has a formed bottom, but the unformed sides allow for stuffing it with off-size items if you need to. The colors are vibrant. The material is strong, and the pattern hides dirt and grime. The hand straps are strong. The shoulder strap is strong, but what I like best is that you can remove it or swap it out for a different strap (plain color is a nice contrast to the material). This bag has 2 slip pockets and a zip pocket on the inside, and 2 slip pockets on the outside. I like outside pockets for keys or phone, and this is designed to fit most phones. ... show more

This is my new favorite purse, just the right size and not too large, different strap options too. I was afraid it would be too small. It is perfect size for my small wallet, medium makeup case, sunglasses, phone and kindle. It has two magnetic pockets on outside, I will probably use one for my cell phone. Arrived clean and in new condition. Oddly, had a plastic T looped on it but the tags were on the regular VB cords. Item is well-made, from Indonesia. Beautiful pattern and the one I picked is casual but would work for dressy casual too. Love it! ... show more

Cute purse. Nice size. Soft and easy to carry as tote or crossbody. The colors in the plaid just aren’t quite as bright in person.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I like the size and all the compartments. Roomy: It looks small but it is roomy inside. I just wish the handles were a little bit longer.
