There is something about this bag that speaks to me. I love the Purple Rhapsody color on the outside and really love the fabric chosen for the inside. I don’t think the new original small tote bag is as practical as the older style tote (and for the larger totes I think this is a big problem) but for the smaller tote I think this bag is still something worth carrying. It is deeper than the previous small tote bags and instead of having pockets around the inside for storage it only has two pockets and a larger zip pocket. So to me it is a different bag altogether. I think there is a place for both small tote designs in the Vera Bradly lineup, but that is just me. Cons: The original small tote is less secure, has less organization, is less sturdy, doesn’t zip as compared to the previous version of the tote. Pros: It is really nice looking and as long as not trying to organize too much will be fun to carry. Also have in Peacoat which is also nice. (Peacoat shown next to large tote.) ... show more

I’m SO happy with this tote bag! I love the color and the inside print. My favorite thing is definitely all the pockets - the outside pocket is so convenient and the smaller inside pockets are great for carrying keys, lip balm, my wallet, etc. The main compartment is very spacious and holds everything I need for work. Not the same Vera Bradley anymore. Pretty pattern, but the fabric feels thinner. Straps too thin and too short. What happened to the pockets? No where to put your readers, sun glasses and cell phone.
