I purchased leather black. Very pleased. The finish is medium exactly as pictured. Not shiny or plastic hard. Lighter average shoe weight, not heavy boot weight. Good stitching and standard zipper. Easy on off. A bit snug across the top of the foot bridge, can loosen the bottom laces to obtain a tiny more give, and should soften up more with leather and wear. Good size toe box with plenty of room for toe spread. Length is true to a size 9. Good inner heal base, not snug but not too roomy to rub when walking. Very good ankle support. Good sole, rubber non-slip. The heel height is perfect with decent shock absorption. I wore them for 6 hours and felt no pain, pinching, rubbing or hurry to toss them off. These will not wear like major rugged military boots, etc. The are a great casual addition to my closet. Great for the price point!

Really happy with these boots. They are comfortable for walking, hiking, or driving. I took them on a trip to the UK and walked endless miles of country roads and footpaths, in all kinds of weather. They kept my feet dry, warm, and comfortable. No break-in time at all. I live in a tropical climate, so I won't be able to wear them much at home unless we get some cool weather. But they will def be coming with me on any trip north. Fit is true enough to size. I normally wear a 9.5 in boots, and with the 9.5 I had enough room for decent socks. For very thick socks you may want to go up at least a half size. The fit is somewhat narrow in the toe box, so if you have wide feet this might be an issue. The length was fine.

As a bartender with a back injury, I'm ashtrays looking for good shoes. It's hard to find cute ones that are comfortable, cute and non slip. These were comfortable right out of the box without extra insoles. I'm a boot lover abs was very impressed by the quality for the price. I've gotten 3 other pairs of boots that didn't work out through one shift at these are awesome. Not sure how they'll hold up but I wear through all shoes pretty fast so I wouldn't hold that against it cause my daily wear and tear behind the barnis pretty extreme.

The media could not be loaded. I have been looking for boots like this for years! Most times when I type “brown combat boot” into the search bar I see something with a knitted top or a layered, fold-over situation, but that isn’t my style. As soon as I saw these, I knew I had to try them and I am so happy I did! The color is beautiful! The appearance and quality are very good, and in my first try-on, they’re very comfortable. I am planning on doing a lot of walking in these at the renaissance festival so we shall see if these boots are made for walking (couldn’t help myself). I’m a true size 7, but ordered a 7.5 to be able to wear a wool hiking sock, and be able to switch out the shoe inserts. Will most likely report back to update review after ren fest :)

The boots are true to size,I would size up if you plan to wear with thicker socks. They seem to be good quality. Giving three stars because there isn’t a whole lot of cushion and it feels like you’re walking on the pavement.

I was looking for a replacement for some older Guess black combat style boots & found that Guess doesn't make the ankle boots this year or boots with the regular combat sole, just chunky sole boots that are higher. So I ordered these boots in leather. They took over a week to get here and what arrived was a beautiful synthetic boot in a box marked as the leather version. The boot itself does not have any marking saying it's leather except the L behind the style number. The vinyl is thin and fused to some foam type lining. The insole may be comfortable, I couldn't tell because the shoe was so tight, and there are round bumps on the sole from the arch to the toe. I took a picture of that. The boots are actually narrows, at least in the leather version that's not really leather. I loosened the shoelaces as much as I could & still could barely stuff my foot in them. They are too tight over the top of the arch and in the toes. They seem to be long enough although the bumps under my toes , the bumps on the insole, felt like they were coming up at my toes, so I couldn't really tell. The round shoelaces are very stiff, so you'll have to buy some new ones, adding to the cost of the boots. A pair of cork insoles were included in the box as a gift, to use if the shoes were too big. Is that a joke? They must have some real manufacturing problems with the vinyl shoes designated as leather.
