These are my all time favorite pens. I own a few! They are comfortable to use and my hands don’t cramp as much compared to using other pens. Ink is nice in my opinion. The build quality could be better, but I appreciate that the plastic makes it very light.

I’m crazy about these pens! They have a nice comfortable feel in your hand. They are larger in diameter than other pens and have a squishy rubbery grip that keeps your hand from slipping as well as cushioning. I discovered Dr Grip pens in the late nineties and early two thousands. I’ve tried other pens, but keep coming back. This brand is a good value. I prefer the ball point to the gel ink. ... show more

I’m not used to using pens as thick as cigars; it takes some time to adjust to the bulky circumference… I have used Parker pens for many years, but the refills are of poor quality and I decided to just try a different brand and style. Because I use pens daily and for extended periods, it’s very important that they function well, flowing smooth writing, and not too much pressure on the finger joints. This is where these Dr Grips excell! The silicone outer casing where the fingers grip is very good; it has some cushion effect while allowing a sure grip; the bulky nature of the pen lacks nimbleness, but the comfort during hours of continuous use is significant! I love these pens and have been using them in various colors for years. However, these arrived with dried-out ink and the refills I bought were also dried out. Don't make my mistake of throwing the ink away! Just remove the ink from the pens and soak them for a few minutes in boiling water. Remove any dried balls of ink from the tip first and voila. All three are working like new. I removed one star due to the headache and buying refills earlier than expected. ... show more
