I took a risk and got these boots in a size 9. I can go between an 8 1/2 or 9. I do have wide feet, and I figured with thick socks, a 9 would be a safe bet. They are a little bit big (long), but the width is perfect. And, these are comfortable!!!! The insole is noticeably cushioned, they actually feel good to wear. The boots are soft, not stiff. I have tried on a lot of ankle boots lately, but I have not found one pair that was comfortable. These are. There are two zippers, but I use the inside zipper as it is more convenient. The boots look exactly as pictured. They seem to have the right amount of "chunkiness" to them. They are not heavy - some boots are weighty because of the sole - not these. If you're in doubt, go ahead, make the purchase. I am so glad I did! Some wears later....After multiple wears, these boots are still as comfortable as the first day I received them. The first thing I do when I get home is take off my shoes because my feet hurt! I actually forgot to do that because my feet did not hurt at all. They are holding up nicely, too. They're great for wet weather. I have paired hem with wide jeans, skinny jeans, and black leggings. And, I have received a few compliments on them along the way.

Pictured is a size 8, in the color gray. The only complaint I would have to point out, is that these don't really have the most padding, and if you're going to go somewhere wearing these while you're on your feet a lot, that might be an issue. I got a size 8 because I like my boots to be a little roomier, and like I mentioned, sometimes boots like these don't really offer a lot of support. They're more so an easy way to add style to your outfits, especially in the winter. I would say that they are true to size. I normally wear a 7 in heels and a 7.5 in most sneaker brands, so if you want them to be more snug, you should get your normal size. If not, size up like me. That way I can make up for the lack of padding with a huge, cushioned sock. They're pretty breathable, but they're still a boot, so, your feet should still be pretty warm even when wearing a simple, thinner sock. The traction on these are pretty great, as you can see. Very pleased with that. You shouldn't be sliding anywhere once it starts to snow or rain. The zippers are functional and don't give me too much of a hasel, and they're an overall great "slip-on" shoe. The heel isn't too big at all, it's really only about the length of my index finger's fingernail to knuckle, as you can see with one of my provided pictures. The price is listed at a range of $36.69-$45.86, which, I think is very reasonable. If you're looking for more support, I would probably pass on these. But, given everything else, they're a nice quality shoe. The gray is a very gunmetal shade, that pairs nicely with the brown heel. I received these for free as a Vine Voice, in exchange for an honest review. So, to summarize: 5/5 for coming as pictured and as described. 3/5 for comfort. I would size up so you can wear bigger socks. 5/5 for warmth. 5/5 for zippers being functional. 5/5 for traction. In my honest opinion, these are great. I would think of purchasing a different color with my own money, or using my own money to gift these to someone else. A humble 4/5 stars.

I'm in love with these boots! They have a deep richness to the color of the boot, and the hardware gives it a rugged riding boots feel - complete with a slight but kicking heel. LOL they are flat, making it easy to do plenty of walking in them. A zip right up, they're super comfy, they go with pretty much any outfit - weather it's around the house, or you can make it dressy casual depending on your accessories and wardrobe. I love these boots I've been wearing them everywhere! I believe these to be more than appropriately priced, and would make a great gift especially this holiday season.

I absolutely love these Vepose ankle boots! I got them in black and they are so beautiful. They seem like a great quality. I've only worn them a couple of times and have gotten compliments. They look good with a dress or jeans. They are really comfortable, with an interior sole that has these tiny little bumps that feel like a gentle pressing or "massage." I didn't expect this, but it really grew on me! No worries for sensitive consumers. The color of the material is pretty and the buckle feels like good quality. I'm very happy to have them! They do run LARGE though. I am usually between an 8.5 and 9 and I first ordered 8.5. These were far too big overall, so I exchanged for 8's and they lean a little large for my feet, but work. Go at least 1/2 size down (maybe 1 whole if you lean that way in general). Customer service was awesome and I was happy with every aspect of our interaction. I haven't seen anything like that in a while.

These boots are PERFECT! I love everything about them. They fit great and are true to size. If anything I would say they are the tiniest bit loose but I would still order your normal size. The tiny bit of looseness in the toe area allows plenty of room for a thick pair of socks. I love that these boots come up higher on your calf for extra warmth in the winter. Even with a pair of leggings tucked in and a thick pair of tall socks, these aren’t squeezing my calves. I still have room so there’s no pinching and no rubbing at the top of the boots. The material is really nice and the stitching around the sole looks perfectly done. The zipper pulls are nice and sturdy and the zipper itself is well made. Not flimsy at all. The side buckles are also great quality and don’t look like a cheap add-on detail. These are going to get so much wear and will go with so many outfits. So glad I have these!
