Description

How to use the Sonar Sensor: 1. Toss the sensor and float into the water. 2. Attach the Side-Scan Adapter to the boat hull using the mounting tabs. 3. Attach the sensor to a handle, lower the sensor into the water.Attention: 1. It will turn off automatically if the depth display reads "---" continuously for 5 minutes. 2. It can not be used to detect bait fish or fish that is smaller than 10cm. 3. When use this fish finder on moving boat, please make sure the bottom of the transducer is horizontal and the moving speed is slowly (lower than 5 mph). 4. Strong waves, suspended matter and muddy water,will affect the performance. 5. Its reading might be interfered with other high power sonar fish finder close to your fish finder. Please make sure there is no other sonar fish finder cloes to your fish finder.

    • Updated Review. Works Ok. Not great.
Update: 11/27/22 Received new unit. Finally ice season is here to test it out. This is a BUDGET unit. It works..ish. It reads, depth, and motion indicating fish movement and seems somewhat close to accurate. [Compared with friends units that were close to verify depths and fish movement] However. It still seems to act up. Im not sure if its too cold for the unit or what, but it will be working fine, reading depth, fish etc, but will act randomly like it switched to demo mode. Showing depths from 1-200ft and massive movements of fish. Now being honest, this has only happened twice with my new unit vs all the time with the one they replaced. It happened rarley enough to where I could still use the unit easily enough if I reset it quickly and turn it back on. It does struggle picking up EVERY fish passing through. But I would say it picks up 90% that passes by. The unit is OK... It has helped some trying to locate fish, if youre extremely tight for money it would be ok. I will use this unit till it breaks and be happy with what it gave me. UPDATE: 6/15/22 seller has contacted and has helped me out. There could have been a malfunction and or interferences. They are sending another product. Will retest and update upon arrival. The willingness and length that customer service has gone to reach out to help rectify the issue and kindness they have shown is VERY respectable and worth noting. I am extremely pleased with customer care and support. Original Review: Its utterly worthless. I followed instructions, watched countless videos and it never would work. It would read the correct depth (12ft for example) for about a minute then fritz out saying the depth was now 100+ ft deep with massive schools. My friends running their humminbird and garmin finders could verify nothing was actually below. I figured it was cheap because it didnt have bells and whistles like nicer fish finders but its cheap because its essentially a kids pool toy. Dont waste your money. ... show more

It’s good for finding fish or finding depth but the surprise is just how easy. If you want to double check your boats depth finder this is a great buy. Fairly inexpensive and super easy to use.     • Impeccable customer service
First one only worked to show depth. Emailed the company company and had a new one in 2 days. This one works great on my kayak. Displayed depth is accurate and all controls are simple. I have about 4 hours of operation on the first set of batteries and still working fine. Good backlighting and display. You can actually sit the transducer in a bit of water on the floor of a kayak and it reads depth just fine. Not sure how accurate the other features might be using it this way. Nicely designed item for the price. UPDATE After 5 months of use, I am still very pleased with this purchase. I have probably 30 hours of use and I'm still on the first set of batteries! Mostly I have used it in the reduced power mode that displays depth only and thereby conserves the batteries. If you want or need a basic sonar and don't want to spend a lot of money, I think you will be happy with this item. I bought a universal cell phone mount to attach it to my kayak right between my knees. It's out of the way for fishing or paddling. Some comments mention that it isn't waterproof as do the instructions with the unit. Mine has not been dunked, but it has held up fine in light rain and also from the paddle dripping on it from time to time. I have used mine almost exclusively in salt water, so if it were going to croak, that should have done it. It's still working great, display is very clear in bright summer sunshine.     • Customer service is OUTSTANDING!
We are using this device for ice-fishing and is works very good, nothing fancy but it is easy to use and easy to read the screen, even in bright sunlight with dark glasses. It is compact and light-weight and we found the battery life is excellent. I would like to have an option for a shorter cord to the transducer as the long cord isn't required for ice-fishing. Now, onto the customer service. We had a problem with the first one of these and I emailed the mfg, within an hour I had a response and after I answered a few questions they offered to replace the unit. They shipped it out (with few free extras) and it arrived in two days. No fuss or problem! They didn't even want the defective unit returned. I think this is amazing customer service! ... show more

This is fairly accurate neck loop makes it easy to bring with, but you have to stop what your doing to look at it. I'd suggest a stand/holder.
