  • An economical solution for all terrain tires.
Size: 265/70R17
Smooth riding. Seemed to balance without an excess amount of weights. Have performed well in extreem rain. No issues while driving in snow. Recently was able to rescue a friend that was stuck [tires dug into] wet, soft muddy soil. Can't honestly comment on the milage, as so far I only have a few thousand mile on them. But, they still appear to be in great condition with a lot of tread. ... show more

  • Extremely Happy!!
Size: 285/50R20
First of all I want to address the noise issue I read in a few of the reviews. Those people who have issues obviously are not use to an aggressive all terrain tire. The noise that these 285/50R20’s @50psi make are exactly what you should expect from them. Not very noticeable at all. Second, the traction and grip. On the wet street they were exceptional. While it was raining, I mistakenly almost went into a 90° turn at a higher speed that should only be done on dry pavement. I was able to brake hard and get through the turn without crossing center line. My truck wanted to turn and I ended up accelerating out of the turn. We only have rain and heat or mud, so those are the only conditions I can test in and these tires seem to be doing well. I asked the tire man how the mounting and balancing went, he said everything was normal and the tires were surprisingly easy to balance. Only time can tell the rest of this review. So far my experience with this brand tire and seller have been uneventful and I hope it stays that way. I definitely recommend using this seller and brand and I have added them to my favorites list if I need more tires in the future. That’s a ll depending on what time says first. ... show more

  • Good tires loud road noise
Size: 235/60R18
Good tires look good and do good on the road the only thing I don’t like is the amount of noise they make going down the road

  • Good price. Rides well. Loud at 60mph for sure.
Size: 285/75R16
The media could not be loaded. To begin.... They are loud at 60mph. This seems to be one of the concerns on most of the reviews. Turn the radio on and the sound is unnoticeable. The video should allow you to hear the sound. I think it sounds like sitting in an airplane runway during take-off. Notice my windows are open at 35-45mph. Once the windows are closed and entering the highway at 55-65mph you will hear the high humming rotation. I'm not sure at this point that I would recommend them as commuter ATW for daily drivers but everyone's location and drive is different. Since I typically drive on dirt, gravel, mud, and pavement at speeds averaging more than 45mph almost all the time they are a great price and option for me. I've heard good and bad things about the long term durability but most of the pros say they think 20k miles is the most you can ride out of them if you Do NOT rotate and balance them as suggested. With a warranty of 50k miles it is a great option compared to others. I emailed Venom about the warranty and asked if Amazon is considered a valid dealer. The response did not say if Amazon is a valid dealer but as long as you have all of the maintenance documents they require it should be honored. Overall, only time will tell how long they will last. But always remember you are saving almost 50% compared to other ATW name brands. ... show more

  • Updated Review: Very Load Tire, Not for snow!
Size: 35X12.50R20
Updated for ALL SEASON USE REVIEW! Have driven with the tires in snow, highway, off-road, and mud conditions. Tires may look great and there was no issue with balancing or "out of round" as I've read on other posts. Maybe the company corrected that. BUT they are COMPLETE CRAP! Actually complete crap is giving them more credit than they deserve. I usually run Nitto Trail Grapplers on my F150 but decide to give these a try. I run Nitto Terra Grapplers on my Expedition and Pathfinder AT on my wifes 4runner. Reason for the background information is to say I am used to All Terrain and mud terrain tires. MUST importantly, subpar in snow, mud, and tire wear. Snow: we received about 6 inches. I took the truck out two days after the snow fall, roads are snow/ice/slush mix. I could feel a lose grip driving on straight flat road. When going at a slight incline in a curve in 4x4 high, the tires slipped about halfway up and would not gain traction again. I back down halfway, tried again. Same spot slipped and had to back down. Tried a 3rd time in 4x4 low, same spot same situation. Finally I back all the way down to flat road and and about 25' further, put in in 4x4 high and started off. Half way up the rear started sliding slight left but I keep the ramps maintained and managed to crawl sideways tires slipping until it leveled out. I drive in these conditions alot and never had this issue. Same spot, a Subaru Impreza, Ford Transit, and Honda Pilot made it up before and after me. So, the inclined curved should have been a breeze for my f150 crew 4x4 as it's always been. Mud: it rained about 2hours and I went to drive on my land on an establish mostly dirt road through the field. Going at a slight decline on the road the front tires lost traction and slide to the left putting my front passenger tire off the road and over the slight embankment. I put the truck in 4x4 high and reverse. Truck tires spun not, back catching some traction and front none. The front of the truck just slide further to left while trying to back up bringing both front tires off embankment. I out the truck in 4x4 low. Tried backing up, the front wouldn't catch traction, the back did and started pulling back but dragging the front left. Finally after not letting off the gas the truck barely crawled back onto the road and I got out. I've taken this truck mudding in a lot worse conditions than that and never remotely lost traction or got stuck with Nitto Trail Grapplers. Wear: I have had these on less than a year, and the tires are almost needing replaced. I need to replace them before winter. So a year and done. LEAVE THESE TIRES ON THE RACK AT THE STORE! $1,200 down the drain! Nittos here I come ... show more
