Melted nicely, color and scent mixed very well with it and it setup very well. It is a bit if a softer soap base, which maybe the goats milk part... This is my 1st time using M&P Goats Milk base. I would buy again.

I make soaps, and have used this brand few times before. The last block l ordered smelled fine. This 5 pound block has an off smell that l can only describe as cream of mushroom soup. Maybe l just got an "off" batch, but l am reluctant to try this brand again. Too late to return, as l have already cut it and used some. I was hoping that when l added fragrance, it would cancel out the odd smell, but it didn't. Edit: l contacted the Velona company and they kindly offered to send me a replacement.
