The subject line says it all. It's velcro and it works great, but trying to peel off the backing is a nightmare. I've tried fingernails, knives, razors, various blunt objects, and it just made me wanted to set both rolls on fire. I even tried scoring the backing in the middle and they trying to peel it up from the cut. No joy. Once it's started, it's fine, but man, *GETTING* it started whether on a corner, on an edge, anywhere, is torture. Hope you have better luck than I had. Anyway, once you *do* manage to get it and peel off the backing, the fuzzy and pinchy sides stick well to whatever you're sticking it to, and grip solidly. Other "off-brands" aren't nearly as grippy, so yeah, this is The Real Deal. ... show more

Amazing and works great! Whoever came up with the backing? The id rather pry my fingernails out with a rusty screwdriver backing? Wow. The worst is trying to get that off so one can actually use it. 5 for product. Jump in a lake with a backpack full of rocks for the taking off the backing. Tip. Ust a blade and score it. we used it to attach plastic dressers to the wall and floor of the van so they would be stable when camping but removable when the van had to work. The velcro held great. We also used it to stabilize removable weight bearing partitions under the bed. It worked great there as well.

Much better than 3M products which I discovered lose their glue in a year and can't hold anything. This lasts and is stronger. Velcro is better than 3M anything.
