I use this stuff for everything. It works great outside in all weather and nothing ever falls off. Allows you to put up & remove unlimited number of times (great for items that have to come down for charging). Holds heavy items with no issue and cleans off easily when removed. This velcro is tough. Holds very well. I was very annoyed that I ordered black for a project, and I received gray. That was disappointing. I needed it now so I had to use it anyway. Doesn't blend it like I wanted because of the color. Wish they could have at least send me the correct color.

I bought this velcro to secure a stadium seat to my kayak. I did not like using a strap with plastic clips to hold it in place because it slid around too much. I put a strip of velcro on each bottom rail on the seat and the receiver strips on the kayak. It held for a while until it got really wet . Then the receiver strips started to slide around. I took the kayak out of the water and removed the two receiver strips , cleaned the area of any glue and started over . This time I put a big line of crazy glue on each side of the kayak seat area THEN I put the ( new ) receiver strips on top of the crazy glue and this seat does not move at all anymore ! The velcro itself holds super but I had to crazy glue it down to make it permanent . Not a bad product. Just depends on what you are using it for . ... show more

As you can see in the photo imprints of what the Velcro was "adhering" to. This peeled off the plastic like a tired band aid. So I put some on top a relatively non-porous portion of a dashtop protrusion and I'm hoping that this will work. I'll know tomorrow when I remove my 3 pound radio. If everything peels off Ill have to anchor the radio with screws. Stay tuned. I am not going to return the Velcro. Note: This product did adhere to a horizontal relatively non-porous surface and soft surface Velcro stayed upon radio removal but the goal is to hide radio from casual passers by. We'll try vertical again Stay tuned. I did buy some denatured alcohol for cleaning surface. This tends to discolor surface color on a test so decided not to use it. ... show more
