Honestly didn't know how well this was actually gonna turn out but the reviews were good so I thought I would take a shot. Now I did not get this for it's intended purpose I got it to convert into a duck house for my ducks who house got crush by a tree. I can say it took me and my boyfriend 4 hours to put this together and the wood did split in some areas but Honestly I wasn't too worried as long as it went together some stuff didn't line up but again it is a amazon bought greenhouse. It did survive one of the worse storms my city has never seen didn't move even though it wasn't anchored down yet which i was terrified I thought I was gonna come out to it in the neighbors yard or destroyed but it survived!!! We will see how it holds up over time I might paint a water sealer over it but for now it's doing it's job!

I basically put this together by myself! 90% of it was done alone. It was easy, instructions were clear and my husband was on stand by if needed but I didn’t!! I wanted my door to swing open the opposite direction so I had to install my handle upside down but it works smoothly. I’m considering cutting my door in half to allow for additional ventilation. It stays very warm in there, great for seedlings. I decided to paint mine right away… I learned that I should have painted first and siliconed afterwards. Lesson learned. I attached mine to a 4x6 treated lumber base, laid cardboard inside, followed by landscape fabric and gravel. No shelves were included so I built my own. Here’s a look! I’m very pleased with it and my contractor husband was proud of me! I will be adding a fan and a heater. The only thing I didn’t like was the lever that holds the roof window open. Plastic and fragile. I will be ordering a metal temperature sensor controlled arm.

Assembly instructions are clear and there are videos that help. Once assembled, the unit is sturdy and after sealing, really holds heat well. There are however some areas of concern. 1: The peak. You must ensure all grooves for the panels line up. There is a small piece of wood glued to the peak board that the rails will screw into. Unfortunately both are centered and when I assembled the back section the board split. On the front section I pre-drilled but the board still split although it did not come completely start. Offsetting the screw holes would help but even better, installing thread inserts into the boards would be a huge help with splitting and with ensuring everything is lined up properly. 2: When installing the screws that hold the rafters to the walls you must ensure that the walls are pushed to the interior or the long screws will penetrate all the way through the board and out. A note in the instructions to be cautious there would have helped. 3: The steel L-brackets for the bottoms corners are sturdy but the width of the bracket almost exactly matches the width of the wood and the holes for the screws are so close to the edge that the wood splits. I ended up moving each bracket up to get good holds on the middle and bottom holes. 4: The roof brackets are very strong and well made but like the bottom brackets are too close to the same size as the wood, leading to splitting especially as the screws are large. 5: More of an observation. Adding a couple of vents in the bottom panels towards the floor would greatly improve the air flow which is critical. 6: Packaging was well done as well as the marking of parts.

This is the biggest piece of junk I have ever purchased. Over $1000 dollars. The box showed up damaged and was delivered in the rain. The seller said they would not take the items back if they weren’t in the original box…the original boxes that arrived damaged they want strapped together etc exactly how it left the warehouse. Panels don’t add up to size. They also fail to say to remove the plastic film on all the panels so if you installed them already good luck taking the plastic off! Not even one month of it being together and this is the quality. The panel door has split due to the cheap hardware they have used. Do not buy this product. Save your money go elsewhere build your own whatever you want to do but do not buy this.

We purchased the 6'x10' model, it took 2 of us 2 days to put this together. We were very meticulous and used clear sealant on all of the clear panels, top and bottom. We didn't need to re-drill any of the mounting holes like some of the other viewers mentioned. We mounted it on 4"x4" beams with rebar approximately 24" in the ground. We then used 1/4"x3 1/2" lag bolts to attach it to the 4"x4" beams. We get a good bit of wind around where we live in Maryland. Also, we spent a day building a 7'x11' gravel base to put the greenhouse on. We would definitely recommend it.

I highly recommend this product! Very happy with how it went together. The greenhouse looks perfect on our property. The cedar look of it makes you think it’s always been there. Very expensive looking.
