One of my Australian Shepherds was starting to hesitate jumping down, and these steps made things so much easier on her joints while giving me peace of mind. I’m very happy with this purchase. It’s a challenge finding a product online, especially for our fur babies. This product is sturdy, easy to operate, fits a SUV (Honda Pilot) side door very well, and my two 60 lbs pups adapted very quickly. The steps have a full metal base covered by the carpet which ensures steady footing. I did not want the fabric steps that other products had because I feared my pups would fall. The width doesn’t scratch my car and the handles rest solidly on the seat which creates just the right for the pups. Easy to lift/store into cargo area. I wish I found this before I had custom wooden stairs built (could’ve saved garage space).

Nice build quality, foam to protect your car in the right locations, carpeting on the stairs for grip, folds up and stores nicely, supports the weight of this gud girl (75lbs) who learned how to use it in a few minutes. More car rides now.. Whoot!

A really great set of stairs! Very well made and very sturdy. Works well on our Ford F250 xtra cab side door and the carpeted stairs have really helped with our 60lb Lab who is tentative at best on getting into the truck. It was a real effort for her to climb a ramp but she now goes up the stairs with little coaxing.

I didn't care for these stairs. I found it difficult to open the stairs and get them angled properly when I was road testing the stairs right after I unpacked them. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to get the stairs open, angled properly, and set up while your out in public running errands and trying to hold on to your dog's leash at the same time. I set them up next to my bed so my service dog could try using them, but even though he has experience climbing regular stairs and a set of carpeted dog stairs he really hated these stairs so I sent them back.

Our eight year old German shepherd never seemed to learn she could jump, so getting into the SUV has been a bit of a challenge. This ladder is sturdy, has wide steps, and fits when placing alongside the bumper of our Honda Passport. Love that it collapses for easy storage. Some of these steps won’t reach high enough for an suv but this one does. Highly recommend.
