The chairs look very nice, but comfort and stability are lacking. The back of the chair feels like it'll snap right off if you lean back to get comfortable. I think they're fine for minimal use, but we use ours regularly so we will be returning these.

Decent for the price but very uncomfortable for extended sitting. The spinning is also very clunky... I recommend getting an extra little pillow or looking for another chair. Assembly was mostly east except for the back of the chair which I had to bend very hard while my wife made the bolt through the hole ... show more

Assembly instructions were fairly simple and putting things together went well. Conneting the backrest was slightly difficult because of the arc of the steel bar. After attaching the bolts to either side of the backrest the bow in the middle was just enough to make the length of the bolt too short to screw on the nut. It was necessary to use a piece of cardboard to keep from damaging the surface with a small pair of vicegrips. Clamping down the bar was enough to allow more of the bolt length to attach the nut and tighten it down. This was necessary to tighten the assembly. Otherwise the bolt was just shy of being long enough to attach the nut to tighten it. Other than that the assembly was a breeze. There is some spring to the backrest that makes the chair more comfortable. Gave these barstools 4 stars only because of the need to use vicegrips in order to screw on the nut to the backrest assembly. ... show more

In my view, from family breakfast to football after-parties at the built-in bar, these VECELO Classic Bar Stools simply fits. With a structured yet contemporary design, it's inviting and homey enough to have a place at the kitchen counter, but also supportive and straightforward sufficient to be a staple at the built-in bar. It features a metal frame that's powder-coated in a black matte finish for strength and a cream microfiber-covered foam seat for comfort. I think this bar stool has all the extras. It features a ring backrest that provides a simple silhouette, which is as much for looks as it is for use. Add to that sturdy footrest, which makes it comfortable to sit on the stool for an extended period. It's built with a convenient 360-degree swivel design, which means you're not stuck facing one direction and can more easily engage in multiple conversations at once. Another point that cannot go unnoticed is that the seat width is on the smaller end at 15 inches wide, so it may not be as comfortable for larger guests. But for the most part, I loved the quality of the chairs for the price and stated assembly was pretty painless.
