This was very easy to assemble. I expected a little unsteadiness because alot of my strength is gone. Much to my surprise I have nothing to worry about even with a complete meal for two sitting on it. It's practical for me. I wish I had a breakfast nook with windows. For the price I paid I was very impressed with the quality. It’s a nice little piece. Not crazy strong or heavy but it’s to be expected. It wasn’t super cheap feeling either. I would recommend it for sure.

Update: I have gone back and inspected the set of stools after my initial review. I’m ashamed to say that I had not completed tightening the screws. Now that all the assembly is tightly finished I have two sturdy and stable stools. I still wish there would have been markings on the cushions to show where the screws should be drilled, it would have made it a nice jiffy result. 1st review: I bought this to use as a coffee bar table and the stools for my island. It was hard to get the metal parts lined up. On my part my mistake was to drill a cushion with too much pressure that it washed and no longer attaches, when lifting the stool on that side it lifts up. It actually squeezed my friend’s finger when attempting to scoot it over. Unfortunately I can’t screwed it in any other area because there’s only one hole in metal frame for the screw on each side of the cushion. All in all, the stools are flimsy while the table looks nice, the surface has a nice finish and it is stable, I love it. ... show more

Both stools and the table wobbles because the two leg pieces are identical lengths, but are stacked on top of each other. This is to be expected with furniture so cheap, but the legs to not have adjustable feet like most other budget furniture on Amazon.
