I used this pair plus a different pair of frames to decorate a corner. I used one in portrait and the other landscape, and the effect looks good - similar but not identical. But if you are going for a multi-print set that needs to look homogenous this frame set will also do the job. Clean lines, with nice broad white borders that highlight the prints themselves a bit more than my other frames, which have about half the white perimeter and more scalloped borders. Each style has its place. Getting the frame off was simple; just twist the spring brackets on each side. There are enough to feel confident about it staying in place, at least with the framing mat. I might want a bit more spring for a 16x20. The built in hooks for portrait and landscape hanging are flexible and easy to use. I had no trouble hanging even in tight corners. The weight is good - not too heavy, but hefty enough to feel the quality. I would get these frames again for 11x14 pictures, or for 16x20 (borderless) prints.

Several weeks ago, I purchased 2 VCK black 16 x 20 frames for some of my larger watercolors. I needed replacements of some older ones because I gave my grandkids some of my framed pictures. The frames I had given away were ones from Target that were great and only $20 a piece, but they no longer had them. So, of course, I found some on Amazon that were comparable, and they ended up costing less. A couple weeks later I wanted some white frames for some of my smaller paintings ( 9 x 12) and I wanted only 2, however, this deal with a package of 5 frames was only a few dollars more. What awesome frames for about $9 a piece! The frames are beautiful, have glass, not plexiglass!, and have the little turn things to secure the backing so they are easy to change out paintings, plus, a little package with clips and wire if you'd like to hang them with that! They are perfect for me and I would buy them again in a minute, either in black or white and no matter the size. They aren't cheap looking, the paint is perfect on every one and they will be just right to give away or sell my paintings in them! I'm considering buying another 5 pack just to have on hand so I can paint a lot more pictures for my home gallery!
